Description said it works with ipad air 2020. It does fit on my ipad, but it doesn't work with the apple pencil 2nd gen. The pencil holder is on the wrong side, you can force it into the pencil holder but it won't magnetically attach. It also can't magnetically attach to the other side (without the holder compartment) to charge, because the plastic is too thick. It might work with some of the apple pencil models that don't attach to the side to charge? I guess it would work with the ipad air 4th gen if I didn't want to use the pencil, but even if that were true I would buy a case without a pencil holder. Since it doesn't work with the pencil that works with my ipad it's not very useful to me so I will have to return it.

Claims to fit the newest 11 inch iPad Air, but after many trials and tribulations, it has proven to be too small. The pencil grip is also on the wrong side. Might work for the Pro fine, but would prefer to have been correctly informed.

Everything about the case is nice, except the thickness of the material around where the pencil attaches to the ipad. The magnet works and it sticks, but it's just a little too far for the ipad and it won't recognize or charge the pencil.

Fit 10.9 iPad Air perfectly. I don’t know why everyone is saying it’s a wrong fit on here- they might now know their iPad models 😂. I don’t use the pencil, so that is not an issue for me. Feels incredibly secure without being bulky. V pleased!

Fit my iPad Air perfectly. Really nice sleek premium design. Only complaint I have is when it’s on the iPad, it won’t charge your Apple Pencil when it’s placed in the holder area. The magnet to charge it can’t reach the pencil through the case.

It doesn’t fit the new iPad. It’s a really tight fit and it’s hard to get on. Also, the screen pops up due to it not fitting.

It’s a nice and sleek case, and I love that it has a slot for your Apple Pencil. With that being said, the only way to charge your Apple Pencil is by taking the case off which is really inconvenient. After having to do it so many times, part of my case ripped. The lack of functionality for charging an Apple Pencil is entertaining.

DO NOT BUY!!!! This case doesn’t not even fit the 10.9 generation 5 ipad air which is false advertising. I just bought one and the ipad literally won’t even pop into the case. waste of money.

It fits the iPad Air 4th generation and feels sturdy and nice but doesn't actually allow the apple pencil to charge without taking it out of the case, which us difficult. Really useless actually.

It’s a good enough case but the pen doesn’t charge with the case on even though there’s an opening that seems like it should be able to charge through. I think you could probably get a cheaper case that’s the same quality that actually lets the pen charge.

Like, feels sturdy, it comes with a pen storage within the case, just a OK case, then turns into a a “no”… Dislike… comes with docking space for Apple Pencil, magnetically attached but! Because of the thickness of the case, it does NOT charge while docked! The only way to charge it is to take the case off and charge. And of course, the glue came loose in the corner where camera is when I took the case off. It doesn’t advertise anything about pen charging on the box. So I assume, since it’s not advertised, people thinks it’s a “bonus” after unboxed, and since it’s a bonus, people shouldn’t complain about it?

Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. Apple Gen 2 pencil doesn’t charge unless iPad is out of case. It’s starting to rip where the camera lens is. The pencil holder should’ve been on the opposite side and able to charge while in case. I guess you get what you paid for.

Has a slot for the Apple Pencil which is great but the case is too thick on the other side for the pencil to charge. Also the two pieces of the vase separate by the camera hole cutout. Not worth the price.
