Apple iPhone 12 / 12 Pro Leather Case with MagSafe

I really love this phone case. It’s really cute and it gets the job done! I’ve set my phone down in water and the phone case didn’t get damaged (I was worried about the leather getting weird). I have dropped my phone a few times and my phone is fine! However, I did drop my phone in a gas station parking lot and the phone case corner is peeling a little now. So it’s a great phone case because it’s cute and protected my phone, the phone case just got damaged easily.

definitely different feel + quality since i last had an apple leather case for my XS. yellow is beautiful . still feels premium & fits like a glove! easy to grip. time will tell on patina & quality . nice with my magsafe wallet !

Feels great, looks great, the branding on it is very subtle (which i like), it has buttons in it so using the volume/power button on my phone is a lot easier than other cases all around just really good case, well worth it

Definitely not worth it, the “leather” is very delicate and scratches really easily. I dropped my phone with the case & my screen cracked. Don’t buy it for the brand, it’s not worth it!!!

I love the feel of this case for my 12 pro. I tried the silicone case first and thought it was already showing wear after one day. This case is different. Clicky buttons and a great feel in the hand. Perfect.

Apple phone cases are always a fair bit more expensive than 3rd party options, but the fit and finish is usually worth it. That mostly applies here as well. The leather case is very high quality. It snaps onto the phone very easily, the button covers are aluminum so it feels like you’re touching and depressing an integrated button. I prefer this immensely to the clear plastic cases where you’re pressing plastic into the phone’s buttons. With the MagSafe feature, the case is also “recognized” by the phone and shows a colored ring on the screen matching the case color. A really elegant, nice detail that I’ve come to expect from Apple. Unfortunately I can’t understand one critical piece of the case design. As far back as iPhone X, Apple’s leather cases were always “open” at the bottom, which allowed unobstructed access to swipe up on the bottom side of the screen. The Apple clear plastic case also has this feature—an open bottom for unobstructed swipe-up access. This is the primary interaction method of the phone, so you do it a LOT. Inconceivably, Apple has made this leather case wrap around the entire phone. I get that it technically provides better protection, but it is totally inconsistent with their previous and current design for other cases and, personally, it’s getting very annoying over time. I just don’t get it. Maybe the case wouldn’t stay on correctly without 100% wrap around. I really like most things about this case. I’m literally considering taking a dremel cutting disc to the bottom of this case to open up the swipe-up area.
