Q: Is there warranty on this product through target?
A: “Apple warrants the included hardware product [Lightning to USB Cable, 2m] ...against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of original retail purchase. Apple does not warrant against normal wear and tear, nor damage caused by accident or abuse.” Target DOES offer a 2-year Square Trade Electronics Protection Plan that “Includes: Normal Wear and Tear Coverage, mechanical defects.” I just bought both the cable and 2-year protection plan today in-store (2/18/2019). There is also an option to buy both online. Just keep your receipt.
