    Bought 2 Apple Watch Ultra and both were defective

    Bought 2 Apple Watch Ultras and had both shipped to my house. After reading the reviews, came to target store for return. The guy in the store said open and try and if does not work, they will return back my money. So we opened and the watch simply does not charge and start. We waited more than an hour and no charge. Got our money back and left the store. I am shocked Target is selling defective Apple watches. All serial numbers etc checked out. Packaging and product are unsealed and original. But watch does not charge. Someone did a really good job of faking.

    I love my new Apple Watch Ultra! Finally got it on the 1 day it was on sale for around $450. It is both beautiful and rugged looking at the same time. Adds to my sense of style. I haven’t dug into too many features yet, but I love the improvements over my older series watches up to series 4. I bought a third party orange alpine loop to be able to experience that impact, as well as OEM green alpine loop, and 2 difference leather bands from Amazon. All look awesome with the watch for different outfits. Looking forward to many years of enjoying it and experiencing the many new features, apps, and watch faces to explore and use to help enrich my life.

    Refurbished Unit Being Sold As New

    Black Friday deal was indeed too good to be true. Watch package looked real and authentic. However, running a hardware coverage check showed warranty was expired. This means that the watch is refurbished and Target is selling it as new. Highly recommend whoever got the Black Friday deal to check the serial number against the Apple hardware coverage website. You won’t even need to open the box to find out if it’s a real or a fake watch.

    CAUTION: Coverage Expired. Open box.

    When I received the box, one of the strips that seals a new box was already removed. When I set up the watch, it rebooted twice. And the worst part: The Apple Watch says that the coverage is already expired. I called Apple and they said that happens when it’s an open box. The website says it is a new device, but it doesn’t look like one. When I called Target, they asked me for photos of the box before opening it, which clearly I didn’t have. And they asked me to go to the same store where I picked it up, not any other Target, even though I purchased it online and picked it up during a trip. It was an awful experience all along and I ended up keeping the watch because I had no other option. Of course I recommend the Apple Watch Ultra itself as a device, but the experience with Target has been AWFUL.

    The Black Friday deal on this watch seemed too good to be true, and it was. I didn’t read reviews because I had done extensive research on the product I was buying and I generally believe Target to sell high quality items. However, after receiving a watch that will not turn on after charging several hours, I scanned the reviews to find several others with an identical complaint. I am very disappointed in this product, and after reading reviews from other purchasers, I will not be shopping at Target any time soon.

    Great watch! It has been difficult to switch away from my Garmin due to the training features and battery life it provides. However, Apple Watch Ultra made that transition possible. Additional battery life compared to the standard Apple Watch models is sufficient for my needs which typically include a workout or an hour long run per day. Training features are still not on par with Garmin, but that’s an expected trade off with an awesome integration with iPhone and beautiful display and UI. I also love the wide variety of bands which makes this watch suitable for several occasions and settings.

    I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment regarding a recent online purchase I made through Target’s website. I purchased an Apple Watch, expecting a brand-new item. However, upon receiving the watch, I discovered that it was not functioning properly. Seeking assistance, I contacted Apple directly and was informed that the watch had originally been sold to someone else in 2022. This clearly indicates that the watch was a refurbished item. At no point during the purchasing process on your website was it indicated that the Apple Watch was refurbished. I feel misled and dissatisfied with this experience, as I had trusted Target to provide a new, fully functioning product. Selling a refurbished item without clearly labeling it as such is both unprofessional and misleading to customers. I have been a loyal Target customer for years, and every representative I spoke with questioned my validity and saw no truth even with proof that Target lied straight to a consumer. Target till this day has not done right by me. Value the time that has been wasted due to their error or correct the issue.

    Believe the reviews. Target sells fake watches and refuses to safe guard their customers against fraud. They are ok with wasting your time.
