Applegate Natural Prosciutto - 3oz

The package I got tasted like it had turned bad. The texture was really chewy too and wouldn’t break down.

Mine must of been spoiled because it didn’t taste like any prosciutto I’ve had before it was also super salty & sticky .

Satisfying. Fun and yummy addition to a snack.

I've been comparing prosciuttos for a while now, and must say that Applegate has hands down been the best prosciutto I've ever had. It's great to see an american brand commit to such a high level of quality when so many companies have gone the opposite direction. Keep up the amazing work Applegate, the quality of your products are second to none!

I was really impressed with the flavor and quality of the meat. It wasn't overly salty. I also liked the thickness of the slices. With other brands, the prosciutto is cut so thinly that it becomes broken flakes/shards of meat. i like to make little bundles of prosciutto and also wrap it around breadsticks or slices of melon and Applegate enabled me to do this. Also, it tasted great, which was the most important part.

Honestly, what's not to like about any prosciutto? It's delicious.

I was able to see a host of other Applegate Naturals products, but never could find the Prosciutto...UNTIL I went out of town and happened to have my coupon with me. It was delicious, just wish more areas/stores carried it.

It was convenient, cut thin, soft and full of flavor, without all the nitrates. This is a brand that I would definitely keep stocked for busy weeknights that we need a quick meal. My husband and I used it for a charcuterie date night and it was perfect, easy and delicious! We would definitely recommend!

It was fresh and tasted delicious in a toasted French bread with basil, mozzarella and tomato. I highly recommend it for your summer get togethers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried frying the prosciutto to try some thing a little different. Enclosed you will find a picture. Finding it in the store was a little tough since all their products were not all together. I really like that the packaging showed no antibiotics were used. The packaging itself was pretty easy to open using a pair of scissors. The meat was fairly lean. When cooking it, it created a delightful smell throughout the house which made the product even taste better. I even saved a few pieces after I fried it to put in sandwiches the next day. It was really good and still very fresh. I definitely would recommend this product to others. The only drawback I see in this product is the price. Although I firmly believe with this product you pay for what you get. There is not a lot of fat or fillers in this. And I truly enjoyed it.
