I'm sure this is a great alternative for people that don't love traditional hot dogs, but for me, it tasted bland. It did fill me up, I was not hungry after eating this dog.

Target seems to be the only store near me selling Applegates’s conventional version of turkey hot dogs. The Whole Foods down the road sells an organic version of this for $2 more. The difference? If you’re in the mood for “junky” hot dog taste, go with this one. The junkiness makes it great for pairing it with something else such as bread/wrapper, loads of condiments, or even in a salad. I still buy the organic version from Whole Foods, which has superior seasoning and texture, making it perfect when eating it by itself as a zero carb keto meal. Since turkey hot dogs are among my main protein sources, I buy both versions. In my fridge, I keep 3 of these (due to Target’s lower price point of $6.29) along with 1 of the organic version from Whole Foods ($8.29). Overall, Target doesn’t disappoint because they provide great value for this product. It’s one of the many reasons why it’s so easy to be a loyal Target customer!

I tried these hot dogs and they were pretty good, I am not a major hot dog eater but I would most definitely buy them again instead of beef dogs. There is no weird after flavor and I was able to trick my picky eater kid without him noticing

My family and I gave the Applegate Natural Turkey Dogs a shot when looking for healthier meat options. As picky hot dog people, this could have gone both ways but we were pleasantly surprised at how good these were. They tasted great! I didn't get that sleepy turkey feeing afterward! We will definitely be getting these again.

These hot dogs are very flavorful. They are nice and firm. You can really taste the turkey meat, no artificial flavors. I made some bacon-wrapped hot dogs at first but then I thought they would make a good chilli since the flavor is so strong and it really gave it a nice tangy flavor! If you don't like bland hot dogs, these are the way to go!

I bought this Applegate Natural Turkey Hot Dog from a special promotion offer. I cooked it for my family and we all did a taste test. I liked that this hot dog was made out of turkey and all natural. They have a great smokey flavor and aren't too salty like a lot of hot dogs. At first, I didn't like the taste because I was expecting it to taste like a regular hot dog, but the smokey taste grew on me over time. My daughter seemed to like it and I like the idea that she is eating a product that is gluten free, nitrate free, no antibiotics or added hormones. The product is on the pricier side for a hot dog but I believe you pay for what to get.

I absolutely loved the Applegate Naturals Turkey Hotdog! It was so fresh and I love that it is plant based and natural! It's very flavorful and tastes delicious in a hot dog bun or just as is with rice and veggies. I love that it comes in a pack so that you can enjoy more than one or share with family and friends:)

I tried these at a mother's day cook-out on Sunday. I loved the taste, they were very juicy and not dry. Others at the picnic agreed, these aren't your average turkey dog. They have a hot dog flavor, a nice snap when you bite into them and didn't dry out during grilling.

We don't often buy hot dogs because of the questionable ingredients most of them have. Applegate Naturals Turkey Hot Dogs actually have pretty clean ingredients, and they taste great! We tried grilling them and boiling them, both ways were delicious. I don't feel guilty giving them to my kids.

I was really impressed. I'm normally an all beef hot dog kind of gal, but I was pleasantly surprised by the turkey dog. I would definitely buy ut again and see if my kids notice the difference!

I was a bit skeptical to try these since we are so used to traditional hot dogs. We absolutely loved the flavor and texture. They were mild and the texture was perfect. Not gritty or fatty. If I hadn't of purchased them I would have never guessed they were turkey hot dogs.

I bought these for my family- primarily for my busy baseball son for quick dinners. We made Mac and cheese with hotdogs and regulars hotdogs for two dinners. They were quick, simple and good. Solid "hotdog" flavor with a good texture. Firm casing, soft inside. Like that they are Turkey rather than beef. This variety was not available at my two regular supermarkets. I had to actively search for them which will prohibit purchasing them again.

These hotdogs were delicious, flavorful, and did not feel guilty eating them! We made them on the grill and they cooked beautifully. The whole family liked these, and we felt better since these are a healthier and more conscious brand than others. Even for a non-hotdog fan in the house, these were good! Would try again!
