I don’t know if it’s because there’s spf in this but my lips have never been dryer. I’m constantly reapplying throughout the day and my lips don’t feel any better. Now they’re so cracked and damaged. Do not buy this.

I haven't even bothered to test it out in the sun. I opened it and application some already got in my mouth, and boy does it taste terrible!! I immediately wiped it off and haven't picked it back up. I use Blistex mint lip balm with SPF 15 (green tube) and I love that probably because it doesn't have a minty smell and tingly feel to the lips which I do not mind at all. I decided to try this Aquaphor lip product because it had a higher SPF. I could not bare the taste. I'm sure there are other lip balms out there that provide more protection from dryness and burning without a foul taste. Skip this!!

Every time I used this, I ended up with the most horrible taste in my mouth. I started using it on my chapped knuckles instead, and that seemed to work.

I bought this for the extra sunscreen protect but I don't think it helped with that or hydrating my lips. I found myself applying more often resulting in lips dry enough to start cracking. I still finished it, lasting two months. As for the bad taste some experienced, I would not call it bad myself because I prefer unflavored and unscented skin products, it's neutral.

It moisturizes well and glides well too and does not melt. However, it does leave a really bad taste in the mouth even if I applied it on the outer part of my lips.

I don’t think a lot of the negative reviews get lip spf. When you put sunscreen in a lip balm, you have to make sacrifices: hydration and taste. You can’t compare it to non-spf balms. However, I find it more hydrating and much better tasting than any other lip spf I’ve tried, including lower protection products 5/5

Best lip balm I’ve ever used, and I have tried quite a few. Doesn’t melt very easily either, so that’s a plus for when you forget it in a warm place.

I'm sure it does well at protecting your lips from the sun, especially because as soon as you put it on your lips it tastes like you just drank sunscreen. Still trying to wipe it all off.

Horrible. I have contact dermatitis on my lips and this made it flare up so bad. I think it must be the sunscreen because I use the aquaphor jelly kind all the time with no problem. My lips are burning within an hour after using.
Not a fan unfortunately

Started to develop a rash/burns on my lips and I am almost sure it is because of this lip balm. I usually love Aquaphor but this was a miss. I will stick to their other products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most spf lip balms taste horrible and I can taste it even if I do not lick my lips. This one I don’t really notice much. I will report back if you ta more noticeable after longer wear but so far it’s nice. I like the lip repair tube without spf as well.

I got this as a stocking stuffer for christmas and used it for about a week. At first I noticed a burning sensation but I thought that was just my lips needing more moisture.. After about a week I noticed flaking along my cupid’s bow and I stopped using it because I was CONSTANTLY reapplying. It just doesn’t hydrate my lips. Even two weeks later, after switching to my OG lip balm, the flakes have developed into a full-on sore. Nothing else has been different about my routine or lifestyle that could give me that much irritation on my lip.
Needs a better component

I tried this product because the original Aquaphor tube was out of stock at my target. The most annoying part of this product is the component because as soon as you apply any pressure to the bomb, the product goes back down the tube there needs to be a mechanism that allows you to apply the product without it going down the tube.
