Description
ARCOS leading European knife manufacturer, producing knives 100% made in Spain since 1734, introduces the Riviera Blanc series. Specially designed for chopping, mincing, slicing and dicing vegetables, meat and fish. Its perfectly finished handle shows very soft curves that provide a perfect grip and comfortable fit. Recalls the classic French forged style with a touch of modernity and elegance. This line is perfect for those who look for a light forged knife and care about design, but value the traditional balance, resistance and perfect grip provided by the classic French forged style. The blade is made of forged nitrum stainless steel. It offers durability, hardness, is razor sharp, and corrosion resistant. The handle scales are made of polyoxymethylene (POM) and are highly resistant to impact, abrasion, and solvents. Rivets are made of stainless steel ensuring extremely high corrosion resistance. Originally Arcos produced knives exclusively for the professional. Due to its high cutting power ( over 100 mm ) and long edge retention ( over 350 mm) which made Arcos knives leader in the commercial market, now Arcos knives are also available for the end users that want to feel in their hands a precise cutting tool used by professional chefs worldwide.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. These knives are very heavy and solidly built. I'd compare them to German quality or Japanese quality which was a nice surprise. The handle material is a bit soft and I'm a little worried the white could be susceptible to stains but so far they are holding up. The knife blade is very sharp and cuts easily. The knives balance well too. Overall, I was surprised by the high quality though if I were to purchase again, I'd go for the black handle.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Bought this set to replace our starter Ikea knives. Wife has used the largest one to cut a watermelon and it made the job quick and easy. Handles are comfy and seem stain resistant. Was worried because they're white, but still as white as the day they came

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Wow! The hammered steel Arcos Riviera blanc knives are made in Spain. They are super sharp! The handles are in plastic moulds with hammered steel dots and give them a modern but industrial look. Together, the 3 knives weigh about 0.847 lbs. They feel heavy but glide smoothly and have a terrific finish. We tried the chef knife on some Canadian red potatoes and found the knife gliding smoothly to yield a clean cut, layers of potato starch notwithstanding. The butcher knife made handy work of some chicken breasts with clean cuts and even finish. We used the filet knife to take out the fat layers from the chicken and were delighted that the knife performed without slipping much through the fat. Overall, a great set, one that I hope will last us for a while and one that we definitively intend to buy in the future, if we ever need to replenish our stock.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The handle grips are comfortable in the hand. the paring knife is easy to use even on hard vegetables the knife peels them easily. The chef knife was a bit harder to hold but it might be just hand side for the handle. The knives hold up to constant use and hand washing. I would love to see how long they hold their sharpness. Altogether a nicely built knife that looks classy.

However, the price I think I would've expected a bit nicer of a handle and a better 'cutting experience'. It's good knife set overall but you can find something similar for a cheaper price point in my opinion.

They are high-quality, and are plenty sharp to sufficiently handle various food-cutting needs, from slicing tender tomatoes to cutting up a chicken. The sets present nicely in boxes for gift-giving, if desired.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This is a very nice and well made knife set. Blades are super sharp and it comes with a 10 year warranty. Really like the look and feel of them. Cuts super cleanly and easily through a variety of foods. My only complaint is they don't have knife covers, I really like for all my knives to have them if it's not in a block and for the price you pay I think it should be included! Great set for people who cook a lot!
