I really enjoyed reading this book to my daughter. She was really happy to hear this story and see some of her own experiences through the eyes of the main character. Looking forward to seeing more from author Ain Drew - A Dad from Texas

I absolutely loved the story of Ari J! My nieces and nephew connect to the storyline and for them to see illustrations of a character that looks like them is priceless! This is an easy read that makes read-along enjoyable for both adults and children. Love love love it!

Ari J’s Kinky Curly Crown isn’t just a book about hair. It’s a story with a message to help teach children to embrace what makes them unique even if that special something isn’t initially embraced or accepted by others. I really enjoyed the relationship between the main character and her mother. I don’t want to give away too much of the story, but I love how the mom allowed her to learn a lesson. It is definitely a book that deserves to be on bookshelves in homes and schools everywhere.
