LOVE, loved this series! It was, however, handled badly by those who made it. This season lost vital characters--Pam and Claudia Joy. Suddenly all stories were more "politically correct" and social conscious than the "average joe" wife problems that had been the series staple. Lame stories were offered to explain the painful disappearance of CJ/Roxie was lost without Pam. The charm of this show was the main characters and their friendships, how their lives wove together in their common cores. Losing them lost this charm. Who cares about the lot of these other characters? The "originals" who were left were given second seat to the newcomers. Bought this for the "last look" at the friends--wish now I'd left it to memories. Waste of money all over (you have to buy season 6 in 2 parts). Stop at season 5 if you really care about the charm of this show.
