Q: Is the pour spout on this model made of plastic or metal? I am looking for a metal spout, as I have had trouble with plastic spouts breaking before.

Q: Can this kettle be programmed to heat water to different temperatures?

  • A: Hello, Thank you for contacting Aroma Housewares. Yes you can select a temperature for the unit heat up to 104*F,122*F,140*F,158*F,176*F,194*F, and 212*F. There is a temperature select button on the unit where those temperatures can be selected. By default when you power the unit on it will automatically bring the water to a boil of 212*F. Q: Does water come into contact with the steel? The specifications say the “tea maker” is glass, but the picture looks like only the sides are glass and the bottom stainless steel. It’s important I know for sure because I have a nickel allergy.
