Q: Is the pour spout on this model made of plastic or metal? I am looking for a metal spout, as I have had trouble with plastic spouts breaking before.

Q: How does the lid open??

Q: I purchased the kettle in March and now the "easy button release on stainless steel lid" no longer opens the lid. Obviously this is too broken too quickly - do you have any solutions?

Q: How long is the electrical cord?

Q: Can this kettle be programmed to heat water to different temperatures?
A: Hello, Thank you for contacting Aroma Housewares. Yes you can select a temperature for the unit heat up to 104*F,122*F,140*F,158*F,176*F,194*F, and 212*F. There is a temperature select button on the unit where those temperatures can be selected. By default when you power the unit on it will automatically bring the water to a boil of 212*F. Q: Can this kettle be programmed to automatically turn on at a certain time of day?

Q: Does water come into contact with the steel? The specifications say the “tea maker” is glass, but the picture looks like only the sides are glass and the bottom stainless steel. It’s important I know for sure because I have a nickel allergy.

Q: Can the temperatures also be read in Celsius?
