I was so excited to try this product. I thought I would like to use it in some small spaces where the air conditioning at my house doesn’t reach as much as other spaces such as my game room upstairs, which is always warmer and my family room where we watch TV often. It’s very simple to assemble and you just have to rinse off the filter to make it cool and then you fill the chamber with cool water as well. When I turned it on it almost feels like a nice fan not an air conditioner so I was a little disappointed in that. For the price I would say it’s just a fancier version of a fan not necessarily an AC unit. For a small space though it does make you cooler as long as you’re within a few feet of it.

It’s super easy to use and seems to cool quickly and efficiently. It’s the perfect solution for us on our back deck in the SC heat and even outside at events for our dog. We love this thing!

It’s like an air conditioner and oscillating fan all in one, I love it! It’s compact and portable to take anywhere. It is quieter than most fans. I love the customizable settings like fan speed and oscillation. This would be perfect for desks, bedside tables, end tables, and anywhere else.

Thank you so much Influenster!!!! so far I have used this in my bathroom where there is no air conditioning that reaches in there, and we have also used it in our spare bedroom where the AC does not reach well there too. In the tank, I add water, And ice cubes. It stays for at least 6 to 8 hours. I am going to buy soon. This is seriously one of the best deals around. If anyone is considering this, Please buy.

I was hoping this lightweight cooling fan would be better than any others I own or have tried. Unfortunately it is all hype and no success. It is LOUD, MESSY and COMPLICATED straight out to the box. This was NOT worth $87!!!

It’s very powerful and I really like the water vapor system. The only downside is side is that it leaks, so be careful to have it in a surface that won’t damage your stuff, I solved the issue placing some cardboard underneath.

Today was our first 80° day of the season so I don’t have any air conditioners installed so I decided this would be the perfect day to test out this arctic air, it was very helpful and keeping us cool in the living room and easy to setup. You can either dip the filter in water or you can freeze the filter after you dip it. I chose to freeze it, and I definitely feel the cold breeze. I recommend for a small space.

The kitchen in her home gets pretty hot while cooking and just makes it uncomfortable, so I was excited to see this as a offer. She’s had it for about a month now &’ now let me tell you this little thing can get chilly. You do have refill the bottom tank with water but once you do it will do wonders.

This is much more powerful and effective than most personal air conditioners, but it's still portable and convenient. It lasts a long time and helps cut down on our energy bill, because we can just run it in the room we're spending time in.

Some positives first, it is lightweight, so it’s portable and easy to move, small, so you can conveniently set it on a desk or small area. The problem with it, is it is noisy and it leaks. It will not cool a room, just whatever it is blowing on, so it’s really just a large personal fan.

In theory this would be an awesome machine that would keep you cool and the room humified. It is the perfect size for a nightstand to keep you cool while you sleep. The issue I had with it is that it leaks. I tried several differnt ways and read the instructions to make sure I was doing it correctly but water would pour onto my nightstand. It did get cool while I had it on and faned a nice mist which I would love while sleeping but I am to afraid it will damage my nightstand. I guess you could put something under it to protect the surface you have it on but I am not going to do all that.

I only got to use this little gadget for 2 nights and then it quit working. I thought it was a great deal for the price, but it turned out to be one of those too-good-to-be-true stories. It might be good for a couple of hours at a time, but mine didn't hold up for what I need it for. That's too bad because I wanted to love it.

My exercise room does double duty in my basement. Without windows, it is difficult to control the temperature and humidity. When I'm hot, I hyperfocus on the heat and have trouble thinking about anything else. The Arctic Air Turbo Chill XL is helping with that! The mist helps me feel cooler and the compact size allows me to move it around the room to accomodate the areas I'm using. It's quiet on the lower speed and easy enough to add ice and water whenever they evaporate. Once things really heat up this summer, I'll try freezing the filter and moving the unit out to the kid's clubhouse. They're already big fans of the colored nightlight!
