This rug sheds toooo much. Sheds more than my cat. The colors, thickness, and overall appearance are wonderful, but it sheds so much that it’s sticking to everything! The couch, the floors, toys, our clothes… it sticks to everything. The Safavieh website says it will shed for a few weeks and to vacuum 1-2 a week, but I’m not sure that’s gonna work out. I’m so disappointed and now have to get rid of this huge rug, which I’m sure no one else is going to want in their home.

A little disappointed with this rug. Colors are more muted than in photo and it sheds like CRAZY. I've had it almost 4 months and every week there are handfuls of carpet fibers that shed off. I had my nephews over and they left covered in little brown carpet fibers after playing around. would recommend for a play room or high use area.

Gorgeous rug! but it sheds so much. I have another wool rug and it does not shed like that. With this one, it is everywhere, including clothing, furniture… too much upkeep and concerned about longevity. We have had it for few days and I have to vacuum every day, and it is not ok! I will return it.
