I have been using this for work to extend my tiny laptop screen, and I greatly appreciate the resolution and generous size of this screen. The monitor doesn’t hurt my eyes after working for a while. I haven’t noticed any flickering, per the product’s description. The colors are crisp. I’m able to adjust all the display settings to my heart’s content, though there are also presets to choose from. It’s extremely lightweight and I can quite easily put it in my laptop bag (in its own case) along with my computer. I like that it comes with both USB-A to C and USB-C to C cable options, since my laptop has C I can use that cable, but I have the option for A in other situations. The cables are thick and stiff and seem like they would be durable. They have been fine for me so far, but I’m not terribly worried since I can use a replacement when the time comes. The kickstand is adjustable, at least by my experience, so I can change my viewing angle and it stays in place. It’s flush to the screen when closed. There’s also a tripod socket on the back where you can attach a portable monitor stand, which I will definitely be getting. I also have a different style portable monitor that stays on my personal laptop with magnets. It makes my laptop heavy and the screen is smaller and not as good quality. If I had to choose a screen, after working with both, it would be the Asus. I feel like I have a better working setup that’s significantly more comfortable, customizable, and functional. Only con would be I can’t have my monitor on my lap, but it’s rare/hard to work that way for me, so it’s a moot point. Overall I am quite happy with this purchase and would recommend! I might buy a second one and will be getting one for my hubby for Father’s Day since he envies my setup :)
