Q: does this have the slip-resistant fabric some rugs have so they don't slide all over the floor?

A: The Atlas Collection, design ATL939A does not have a slip-resistant backing. This has a cotton woven backing. We recommend using a rug pad to prevent slipping and sliding. Thank you for your question.
