Q: Does this absorb quickly or does it kind of just sits on the skin? Not looking to be a Crisco'd human ham. Thx.

submitted by CandyMonster - 4 years ago
  • A: It does sit on the skin for a bit until absorbed. Like the previous answer-don't over apply. This is NOT a dry oil though.

    submitted byMum23 - 2 years ago
  • A: It does absorb into the skin - don't over apply. Just one squirt on my lower legs and one on the thigh does it. Does it instantly absorb? No, no oil does. But if you don't over apply it will absorb quickly and look like soft, smooth skin, not shiny Crisco body builder skin. =-)

submitted byThe Traveler - 4 years ago
  • A: Hi there! Our oil mist makes skin instantly look smoother and even after application.

Q: Is it a light scent? I don't want anything overwhelming.

submitted by DonnaL - 2 years ago
  • A: It’s a very light scent. Very soft and feminine in my opinion, but it does last all day.

submitted byDonttellmyhusband - 7 months ago
  • A: The scent does vary from person to person, but we wouldn't expect it to be overwhelming.

Q: Does it stain sheets or clothes (leave oil stains)?

submitted by Maria - 9 months ago
  • A: I use it daily after I shower and immediately put clothes on. Never seen a stain on any color. Even when I over apply the oil, I’ve seen no issues.

Q: This oil mist sounds great but I'm allergic to fragrance in skin care. It's called "unscented," but the ingredients list contains fragrance. Is this the right ingredients list?

submitted by jwondering - 2 years ago
  • A: Hey there, that's a really good question! It's actually a pretty common misconception between fragrance-free and unscented. Fragrance-free means that no fragrance has been added to the formula what's so ever, and the total products smells like a combination of all the ingredients. Unscented is a claim that means a fragrance may been added to make those combination of ingredients have a truly neutral smell. Hope that helps!

Q: Does this become rancid if not used up within a certain period of time? Second question: How long is the shelf life?

submitted by Member - 2 years ago
  • A: Hi there, that’s a great question! We design our cosmetic products to provide an optimal user experience throughout their shelf life. The designed shelf life of our cosmetic products is 24-36 months from the date of manufacture. Due to the time that may elapse from the date of manufacture to the date of purchase, we recommend that you use your Daily Moisturizing Oil Mist within 12 months of the date of purchase for the best user experience. Thanks for reaching out! Let us know if you have any other questions.

Feels very very oily compared to moroccon oil night oil. Doesn’t leave my skin as soft either. But it’s significantly cheaper and smells nice.if u can afford to spend more it’s worth it to buy something else.

If you’re looking for a moisturizer that delivers long-lasting hydration and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth, I highly recommend the Aveeno Daily Moisture Oil. This product is a game-changer! It’s infused with colloidal oatmeal, which helps to lock in moisture and protect the skin’s natural barrier. It absorbs quickly without feeling greasy, making it perfect for daily use. After using it for a few days, my skin feels noticeably softer, and the subtle scent is very refreshing. Whether you have dry skin or just want to keep your skin nourished, this oil is a must-have. Highly recommend!

I bought this because it says “unscented” and that’s a lie. It’s definitely scented and full of who knows what since they don’t disclose what the fragrance is from. Very frustrating.

I like the feel and found that it blends in relatively quickly if I stick to a small amount but I can’t get over this smell. If you are sensitive to smells, I would not recommend this. It’s like my childhood baby sitter’s jojoba cream combined with gas station air freshener.

See that dent? This oil smells amazing, though not so easy to spread around the body, I typically use it immediately after shower without using the towel, helps absorb more evenly, but it smells so good and sets a good base for layering perfume

    Terrible Product

This was recommended by Aveeno because my favorite Creamy Oil lotion was discontinued. This is not similar at all! I loved the lotion because it was not greasy, sooo moisturizing, and the scent was subtle. This is extremely greasy, even rubbed in, transferring onto my clothes. It’s way too fragrant and that sprayer is terrible. It reminds of a sunscreen oil you’d use at the beach in quality and smell. Not a fine mist at all! I’m sending it back. I guess this is the end of my Aveeno days. So disappointing.

This is one of the best body oils I’ve ever used it doesn’t have that greasy sticky feeling on your clothes like any other oil does the scent smells very good to it smells like coconut, vanilla and chocolate all mixed together. This oil leaves my skin all glowy and moisturized. It has 1000 sprays as it says on the back. I will buy this again once I run out I give this a 8/10.

I absolutely love this oil. It leaves my skin so smooth and moisturized all day long. I love the smell it’s not too strong and layers great with my perfume. The mist gives you enough to keep your skin moisturized while using a little oil at a time.

I have always been skeptical of body oils until this year's most brutal winter. My skin was so, so dry. A friend recommended the Aveeno oil and she was right. It soaks in nicely, smells great - and not too strong, and really does the job. My skin looks and feels hydrated. I use it right out of the shower and I think it's even more effective that way. Great for nails and cuticles too!

Not only is this unscented, but the scent is SO STRONG. I didn’t even buy this because it was unscented, so I was OK with a scent, but it smells insanely heavily of synthetic vanilla/coconut. Also, as soon as it hits my skin and warms up it smells identical to, ahem, a certain rubbery material... it’s insane lol. Getting this near my bikini area, the smell actually becomes nauseating once it sits there. Literally smells like not showering after you-know-what. I will say, it is super moisturizing and not super greasy for an oil, I like to layer it with a moisturizer to help the slight greasiness and the smell. Dunno if it's just my specific body chemistry that makes it smell so bad, but I'd really enjoy this if it were ACTUALLY UNSCENTED!!

Not unscented, please change the title.

I was looking for fragrance free, so I could add my own fragrance oil. I'd searched by the term unscented or fragrance free and successully found two fragrance-free body lotions, so I trusted that this body oil was not scented too. My online shopping experience grew tiresome and I had to check out. It wanted to check for scent before mixing, so I unscrewed the cap and sniffed. It had a light floral scent. I put my glasses on and checked the ingredients. Fragrance is the 4th ingredient of the 7 ingredients. After realizing my mistake I went to FAQ's. Somebody asked about why there was fragrance while the title states "unscented". The response was well-worded, but still lacks basic reasoning. I think you should delete unscented from the title.
