It has a pretty strong fragrance that I could do without. I'm not sure what it's attempting to be, but it's just not a pleasant smell. I'd prefer it to be fragrance free. I won't be buying this again because of the yucky smell. (Floral chemical smell maybe? I don't even know)

Bought this to help with my daughter’s damaged hair. Hoping it would help keep her knots at a minimum when I brush it after a bath. It did not help. She also would cry saying the shampoo hurt her head. I thought she was just being a whiny kid who didn’t want a bath. I used it again the next time and got the same reaction. Next I noticed she was starting to get scabs on her head. I used the shampoo on myself the next day and it irritated my scalp as well. Throwing this bottle away. Also didn’t feel like our hair was clean.

It's only okay at detangling. And really to detangle it needs to be in the hair while brushing. So no rinsing and then brushing. I don't find it particularly moisturizing either, I tend to have static when I use it once my hair is dry. But I appreciate the price and the gentle ingredients.

Aveeno products are amazing, unfortunately this shampoo/conditioner didn't work as well as I expected. Our whole family uses this brand of bodywash and lotion, and I use their face products. My daughter has long curly hair and I wanted something that was going to add some conditioning without weighing it down. It washes well and the smell is light but sadly it doesn't seem to do anything to help with softness and tangles. I have to use a separate conditioner. I was really hoping this would work for her. It might work better for some people than it did for us. I highly recommend their body washes and lotions, sadly I can't recommend this.

This shampoo gave my sons hair a crazy odd texture. When dried, it’s crazy tangled and I have to put tons of de tangler spray in it to comb it out (it’s not long!). I’ll definitely be buying a different shampoo.

The smell is a little weird at first, but I’m getting used to it. Be warned: just use a small amount to lather the hair as it foams up quick. I made a mistake the first time of using the time much and spent a long time taking the shampoo out of her hair. Since it also has conditioner, it’s hard to tell of the shampoo is out of your hair. But aside from that, I enjoy that it’s a 2-in-1 and it detangles my toddler’s hair very easily. I’d give it 5 stars but it burns the eyes a little and my toddler freaked out when she accidentally got some in her eyes

Product photo and description (says unscented) is very misleading. When it arrives it says gentle scent on the bottle and has fragrance listed in the ingredients. I had to wash my hair 8 times to try to get the "gentle scent" out as I am very allergic to fragrances. Do better with your product descriptions.
