Aventura Clothing Women's Kateri Short Sleeve Top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the embroidery detail on the neckline and sleeves Pairs well with my striped hemp pants from Adventura. I throw on a linen shirt over the top when I travel to keep things light weight and cozy. So comfy and perfect for long haul flights.

I ordered several items and was most excited about this one despite it being more than double the cost of the others. It’s pretty cute. But sadly the cons outweighed the pros and I sent it back. The pros: the embroidery on the neck and blanket stitch on the sleeves are really nice details that makes it special. The length is perfect (I’m 5’8”). It has nice and unusual colors that differentiate it from other clothes I can find elsewhere. It has a nice overall vibe. The cons: it’s a paler blue than the photo showed IMO. I had it in mind that the neck embroidery was going to be red and orange not pink and mustard, though looking at the photo more closely, I think it’s pretty accurate after all. I would have liked red or reddish over pink. I’m not afraid of showing some cleavage but this neck was way low on me. Would have to wear something under it which isn’t going to happen in the summer. For me, the sleeves were too long. Tried folding them up one turn so the blanket stitch still showed but they still seemed a little long. The stitching around the sleeves is about 1/2” long stitches which I know would snag within one or two wearings. I’m bummed it didn’t work for me. But thankfully other items were great!
