I cut some standard 8.5x11in printer paper in half and it doesn't fit in this binder. The metal bits above and below the rings are too close together and force the pages to curve or bend instead of letting them sit flat. I'll have to trim a solid 1/8 of an inch off the top of every single sheet of paper I want to put in it to be able to use this binder.

I use this binder to catalog all of the stamp sets I own that I use to make greeting cards. (actually have 2 of them- one for all purpose and one for Christmas) It is a great way to keep me from purchasing sets that I already have.

Be careful though the size is not a typical paper zsize so 8x11 paper will not fit in this. I made this mistake. However still a very good study binder if this is the size you are looking for

Plus, it's a more portable size so i can put it in my purse and carry it easily. It's refillable, too! And if it gets dirty, you can easily wipe the outside down with a damp washcloth and it's clean like new again. I'm glad Avery is around for my office supply needs. I really like how this style is longer than normal, so I don’t have to worry about any fly papers getting bent. Holds all my important work documents within out trouble. The ring itself a is super easy to open, which is great in my book because I have carpal tunnel. Seems to be very durable and will last a while.
