It is super helpful when I need to see exactly where I am gluing to make sure I am getting every space that I needed to cover. I think this is a great concept and will never buy any other glue sticks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The main purpose I have for glue sticks is arts and crafts for my toddlers. Usually it's a big mess but these glue sticks slide on very smooth without clumping and getting all over the place. The disappearing purple color is also a must for us and such a great feature because my kids know where they have already put glue down and as a parent I can see if it gets on things it's not supposed to before it dries.

The purple lets you know where the glue is which is great when you have a bigger project going on, just remember it disappears as it dries. I plan on using this next with some picture frames and matting.

However, I wouldn’t use 6 at a time, but I will use them in the long run just in case I run out. I would mainly use them for school assignments. It takes forever to use all of them and when I’m on the last one, I sometimes forget to buy more because I always think there is another one in the drawer.

It washes well off of little fingers and clothing with no staining. The glue lasts and works very well! A must have for families who love to do crafts.

My school aged kids have used these several times already, and their projects have all held up well. I have used these glue sticks for my own little projects for the Elf on the shelf, and I am very pleased with the results. The purple is a nice effect to show where you have already put glue, and I love that it dries clear. I would definitely recommend this pack of glue sticks to anyone crafty!

These glue sticks are HUGE and long lasting. They go on purple so you can see how much glue you're adding and dry fairly quickly. I've used them with construction paper and they do the job! The glue washes off easy, which is perfect if you're working with kids. Overall, it performs like you'd expect a glue stick to perform.

I personally do not think glue sticks hold stuff down as well as your squeeze bottle glue (hence the 4 stars) but when it comes to art projects with toddlers they are 100% the way to go. It is a nice feature to have it spread on purple so we could see where we already put the glue - the purple color disappears when dried.
