There was a time when using Avery Labels was quick and easy. Now, I have a carton of labels and still trying to figure out how to use them. I've tried going to chat and they are never available. If I go to a page that looks as if there might be guidance, it is only another sales page urging me to buy more. There is nothing intuitive in understanding how to get started, only guesswork.

Don't throw out your old file folders because they need relabeling

Received these labels just a day or so after my order. They are perfect for keeping my file folders clearly labeled, which is made easy by using the online template for printing. Because of their TrueBlock feature, I can save my older file folders by applying these labels directly over my old sloppy hand-written labels or just mis-labeled folders.

I loved making the labels for my 160 students' individual files. I thought it would be a great investment of my time to have a place for work to be returned. After I labelled all the folders, and began putting papers in them, I realized I would have to tape the labels in place or lose most of them. Another 2 hours to use packing tape to get them to stay put. :(

We are very sorry to hear that, if you get in touch with our consumer care team they should be able to check if you may have received a defective pack of the labels. They can also recommend some other labels that may be more adhesive as well. You can reach us by phone at (800) GO AVERY or through chat by visiting Avery.com and using the "Help" section at the top of our site. We do apologize for any inconvenience and hopefully we can get this issue resolved for you soon!

My only problem is that what I see at the Preview point is not always how the layout is going to print. I get all the way to the point of printing, and just before I hit Print, I see that my text is on two lines or not lined up correctly even though on the Preview and Print screen, it was perfect. Other than that, I love using this website and use it quite often.

These little babies are wonderful. I use them at work and have also found that they make wonderful identification labels. I use them to label snack bags when I take my five gkids on outings, they are also very useful for spice jars when the old label has faded or fallen off. And I like to use the online templates to make name tags of a sort...that I place inside of books that I give as gifts. GREAT product
Fine File Folders Labels

The label has a good adhesive. However, it does makes it hard to completely peel off if you plan to reuse the folder - that's when the TrueBlock comes in handy to just layer-cover the old label over. The Design&Print program is a little tasking and difficult to navigate with if you are making multiple sheets of labels- it is good though more time consuming- I would use the sheet template in a Document Program for faster label editing.
Prenumbered labels would be great

I would love to see the rows prenumbered as I often just make a single label using MS Word. You can select the column and row. I usually just print them myself, but with all the other printing in the margins, I don't see why Avery couldn't do this for us!

These file folder labels with Trueblock lining make my reused file folders look "good as new". The assorted colors (including blank white) are great--I don't need to buy a box of each color. They work perfectly in the printer.

I use these labels to organize my family history research, and I love them. I have had to re-label my folders several times and these labels definitely cover the old label. I also love having the template to use. Absolutely no cons with this product.

I'm rather old fashioned when it comes to labels. I do love them typed and I really love them to be simple to do and update. This product does exactly that. Could not ask for me.
