[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I utilize the Avery Showcase Economy View Binder 1 1/2 White binder to hold teaching material for my class. It has solid rings that do not get caught when placing paper in or taking paper out of the binder. The front has a clear pocket to hold a cover page. I found it a little difficult to remove the page from the front. The pockets can hold about 20 sheets, but do stretch the plastic (permanently) after the paper is taken out of the pockets. The 4 star rating is for the cover and pockets.

Just putting them in an envelope and taking to the store was now working well. This Avery binder was the answer. It has clear view pocket on the cover and 2 inside. I was able to personalize my binder to give it my touch. The binder is tough that I can even use as a hard service to write on if needed. The ring is circular and easy to turn my pages. The front easily folds to give me more space if needed in my grocery cart. I recommend Avery notebooks and binders because they hold up better to wear and tear. And by the way I made 10 of these Avery binders for coupons to my friends and family

With the beating my backpack receives this binder stands out greatly. No cracks or breaks in the structure. The papers are held together nicely with the rings lined up perfectly.

While I'm a bigger fan of the D-ring binders for both capacity and turning ability, but the traditional round ring is still a great option for storage/archiving and lesser used items or reference material. The clear plastic on the binder makes creating a front and spine label quick and easy. I will say, this one coming direct from Avery had the best packing I've seen for a single binder from anyone in years. Normally it's rattling around and all beat up if you don't have 2 or at least something else. This one came with very minimal bending at the corners and otherwise clean and sturdy. If you need to do a lot of archiving or are looking for a project binder that won't be used daily, this is a great option. Also good for kids. I'd say this is nearly the same binder my Mom gave me for 4-H projects at eight years old.

I put in some clear plastic pages to hold receipt, owners manuel, instructions & copy of warranty for each individual item. I can put the notebook in a drawer or bookcase & have all the information I need, close at hand. Notebook is much better than cramming stuff in a file, pulling everything out & trying to sort thru it all.

I've been purchasing them for years and for whatever reason, this particular binder seems very flimsy / made of poor quality. It feels like it'll bend easily, and that's the reason why i'm rating it a 3 star. I don't know if there's less cardboard inside or it was made with a thinner material or what, but it's rather unfortunate. Aside from that - everything else is perfect! It still has it's functionality, the binder clips are easy to open/close, and the pockets are easy to slide papers into.

The white 1 1/2 is perfect for the kids, they like to cut out magazine pieces and put them under the front clear plastic for a cool collage. It’s sturdy and holds their paper without having it ripped out like other binders, and the rings never break.

It's simple but keeps everything I need together and the rings easily snap open to add, rearrange or remove papers as needed. Two interior pockets for miscellaneous materials are a nice bonus and I created a personalized cover design, printed it on cardstock and slipped it right in the front. Avery also offers free templates on its website. I like the slim unobtrusive design and it works for my needs.

There are also pockets on the inside of both covers. The only drawback is that the rings are a little bit difficult to one and close. A younger child will need help and/or supervision as it could definitely pinch them! In general the binder feels fairly thick and sturdy.

I have thick note pads and packs of paper in the folders of the covers and plastic sheets with collected stickers in the center. It's very sturdy and has strong pockets that don't break or tear when the binder is stuffed.

With clear protectors sheets inside, I have notebooks for financial docs, my daughter's artwork and school projects, our pets vet records, etc. I love that you can print out a quick title page and slip it right into the front panel.
