Aviana (pronounced AHH-veee-on-uhh) Red Wine Blend is rich, layered, and fruit forward wine from Portugal. Each varietal in the blend adds something to the final composition. Syrah provides structure and dark fruit character. Touriga Nacional contributes brighter red fruit aromatics and licorice notes. Tempranillo sprinkles in baking spice notes and hints of leather. Alicante offers rich/dark color, juicy blue fruit flavors and softens the texture.
This medium-full bodied wine is well-balanced, complex, and elegant. Layered flavors begin with ripe blueberry and blackberry and then seamlessly wrap into notes of mocha, black cherry, licorice, and white pepper. Balanced acidity with a soft, lengthy finish.
