Description

The Marty Collar combines the traditional security and gentle tension a martingale collar with the ease of a fast-release, safety buckle. The martingale loop is designed to deter pulling by gently applying pressure when it’s pulled tight when your dog pulls. Originally designed for dogs with a smaller head circumference than neck, to prevent them from slipping out; the collar is now a very popular training tool and highly recommended by dog rescues for dogs that might not be used to walking with a collar and leash. The fast-release buckle allows you to be able to remove the collar easily without having to loosen and resize every time you put the collar on.

How to measure

Length

Run tape from the base of your pet’s neck, at the collar, to the base of their tail, where the back ends and the tail begins.
Girth

Start at the widest part of your pet’s chest, right behind the front legs. Don’t forget to leave a little wiggle room!
Neck

Measure where your pet’s collar naturally goes. Remember to leave a little slack. Two of your fingers should comfortably fit underneath the measuring tape.
