Q: Is the volume unusually very soft and hard to hear? We've tried turning it up all the way and changing the batteries but it makes no difference. Just trying to figure out if this is normal! Thanks.
A: Hi Bri - As the others have said, the woofer should not be hard to hear. We hope you did take it back to Target for an exchange. This is such a fun toy - we really want your little one to enjoy it for a long time!!
submitted byBattat Team - 5 years agoBrand expertA: It does indeed get loud! I would do an exchange. We got this for my daughter as a gift when she was 1 and she still loves it and is now 5. I also frequently use it as a gift to others!

Q: My son got one of these as a present, and it doesn't work :( is there anything you can do to help w/this? We changed batteries..etc...hes so disappointed..hes only 1.. i will have to go and buy him a new one.

Q: Some of the reviews state that the strap is a strangulation hazard? Can you remove the strap?
A: Hi AMJ. The B. Woofer strap has a center section held together by velcro pieces which can be removed. As well, it can serve as a release during play. Please make sure to remove the plastic tabs that are on the velcro portion of the strap before play. The plastic tabs are part of the toys packaging when new. The Battat Team

Q: Is the strap supposed to be short or is there a way to extend it?
A: Hi Smm1234. There are 2 versions of the Woofer, 1 with a longer strap and the other with a non-detachable 8" strap. The shorter strap does not extend. Thank you. The Battat Team

Q: the surface has become softer and sticky on the front. What to do? I have cleaned it carefully
A: Hi Lakeside lady. The Woofer material is not toxic, and the stickiness can be caused by either heat (direct or indirect) or the products being used to clean it. Once the below happens there is no way to reverse it. Thank you. The Battat Team

Q: What are recommended ages?
A: Hi Chris. The B. Woofer is recommended for children aged 2 years plus. It's woof'n good songs are fun for the whole family. The guitar strap is attached on both ends by velcro and made to be taken off on the players (or parents) preference. Here's hoping that you have a strummingly good time. The Battat Team

Q: I brought this yesterday For my granddaughter and it has already stopped working. I changed the batteries and it still isn’t working, what a waste, my granddaughter really likes this toy.

Q: We purchased this a couple of weeks ago. The sound of the prerecorded songs can only be described as "fuzzy" - it's hard to understand the lyrics and the quality of the sound is very poor. Is this normal?

Q: does this guitar only make dog noises?
A: Hi Maryanne. No, while the dog feature is a fun part to the Woofer, there are also 2 other setting, acoustic or electric, to change it to for normal guitar sounds. This way you can play during the day and bark the night away!. The Battat Team
