I really wanted to love this rocker. My son was so excited about it and it's perfect because his nursery is whale/ocean themed. It's very cute and overall appears to be decent quality, but the handlebar on ours is extremely uneven. One side has hardly enough for my son to hold onto and there doesn't seem to be any way to adjust it. I may be returning it and am really disappointed.

All of our toys go through extensive testing, approved by both Canada and the United States. The odd toy can still get through that has an issue. This is a really cute rocker but the seat is very poorly placed. When we had bought this, I had my two-year-old at the time sit on it right away to try it and he fell off the back because of the fact that the seat is too close to the tail and there is no support in the tail to keep a toddler from falling off, We actually had to go ahead and bring the whale back and exchange it for the horse rocker

It's cute, but it's very impractical. I wish I'd put more thought into it before purchasing. It's way too difficult for a toddler to stay on because the front end of the whale is so large, and the seated area is so small and close to the tail. My son is 18 months old and very mobile, and he can't rock on this without sliding off of the back.

Don’t know why this has bad reviews I love this and so does my daughter!! She squealed and squawked for 20 min when I first took it out of the box. She’s 13 months old and she fits it perfectly, needs help getting up still but she’ll get it in the next few weeks, she loves it though. She can rock it a little and will just dit on it or ask me to put her on it. It’s so cute, light weight and well made, and the tail is sturdy enough to keep from falling off. Overall a perfect investment for a 1 year old and an excellent toy for a very fair price! highly recommend
