A: As responded to your same question, the doll's eyes should close when she is laid on her back. Sounds like yours is not working properly. Perhaps Target will exchange it.

This baby doesn’t seem to work consistently. I bought it for my toddler but it cried and cried and cried when we turned it on. I tried the pacifier, the bottle, and bouncing it and it wouldn’t stop crying. It went on for several minutes. Doesn’t seem like a good toddler toy if even an adult can’t figure out how to make it stop crying. The random tube being placed in the baby’s shirt and not attached to anything is also really strange. It doesn’t seem to fit anywhere on the baby. The sucking noise with a bottle and when it opens and closes its eyes is also really inconsistent. Will be returning, unfortunately.

Doesn't consistently make sounds and mouth doesn't move while feeding. Came with a random tube not attached and doesn't wet its diaper while pushing the heart on its stomach. Disappointing

I think this is the closest to a newborn! If you DO NOT HAVE the patience, it’ll drive you crazy. But if you do then you’ll love it. I got one for each of my daughters and they are insanely obsessed! You need to watch the video and read the instructions to be able to know what the BABY NEEDS! You need to pat her back, rock her, feed her, etc! And she will definitely open and close her eyes.

Eyes do not close. 1 eye will sometimes half-close but continually makes popping sound. Daughter just got doll yesterday; it was not working right out of the box. I am using brand new Duracell batteries. We are so disappointed in this doll. It was not cheap. I expected more from a well-known doll brand that's been around for years.

The baby doll was a Christmas gift and out of the return date. It makes noises but only if you switch the button on and off and does go to sleep and close eyes. Does not do suction with mouth at all for bottle of pacifier which kind of was the whole point of getting her. So it sucks.

I grew up with baby chou chou and baby annabell. So I and to get this new version for my daughter! Very cute and pretty nice quality doll. The electronics do seem a bit glitchy as far as getting her to do switch and do different things. And she has a weird patch looking spot on the back of her head. Clothes could be a bit better quality and cuter but I do like the lamb like the oringal baby annabell. I can't wait to give her to my daughter and i know my neices will all enjoy her as well she has very cute features! I'm just hoping we don't have any issues with the cloth body and drink and wet features. My box did come a little ripped and taped up it almost looked returned. But I called costumer service and they had me open it up and everything looked to be brand new and undamaged inside the box. And they did let me know to call them back if we had any problems with the toy not functioning with batteries. So I do appreciate targets help with that. I'd give 5 stars but I think it could improve just a tad bit but overall very happy with the doll!

I bought 2 of these dolls. One with light blue eyes, one with light brown eyes. It is uncanny how their faces move and the life like sounds they make. My granddaughter loves them and is learning how to take care of them as though they were real. Just remember the (3) AA batteries.
