A: Great question, the mat is approximately 3/16” thick.

Once my daughter hit 3-4 months she really enjoyed this. I like that the music has an option to stay on and she loves kicking it. She doesn't have to kick the piano very hard for it to make siund which I love.

Bought this back in October so my baby would have a tummy time mat that’s fun and interactive… welp it broke after 4 months. Really disappointed as my daughter loved it.

I love how simple it looks. Not super bright colors besides the Piano. I also like you can put your baby toys on the bars. Don't get me started on how awesome the piano is. Very sensitive to touch so it responds easily when touched.

I usually like baby Einstein products but this one has some major design flaws. The piano does not stay attached to the mat, my little 3 month olds feet kicks it off within 2 minutes. The screws that hold the piano are constantly coming loose, which is a choking hazard! I wish I would have gotten a different brand.

This review is for the piano specifically. Both of my kids looove this piano. I like how much they enjoy it. My complaint is that the 2 knobs on the sides to change it from horizontal to vertical are absolutely choking hazards. And somehow they are chronically loose even without being touched or messed with. This makes me nervous so I'm always very mindful about that. There has to be a better solution for this transition piece other than 2 round, removable knobs that come loose on their own.

We started using this at 6 weeks old. My baby boy loves this. I like to put him on the mat in the mornings while I make breakfast or do other things and he stays occupied for a good amount of time, about 30 minutes. We also use it for tummy time. We like how the piano can be used in different positions so that you can use it for tummy time, for the baby’s feet, or you can prop it up when they get big enough to sit up and play with it.

I like how many toys it has but the pillow doesn't stay in one place when my baby is on it because the mat is made of very slippery material. Everytime my baby licks she either slips out of the pillow or pushes herself off. The pillow should have a strap to stay in place.

This baby Einstein toy is so cute. The material is easy to wipe off. I like all the different hanging toys. The piano is nice too because if you have a newborn that can't reach the piano, you can have the piano play music continuously. There were some reviews that didn't like the different languages that it could teach the baby, but I honestly, I didn't mind it. I have a 12 week old, and he loves it. He loves to kick so this is a great toy for him. I started using it as early as 8weeks.

All around love this product! A coupleminor complaints is the way the piano attaches to the mat and the overhead arches don’t stay up well on there own. The piano is a tether that is fed through holes, wish it would snap down somehow. Also we had to zip tie the tops together so they would stay up. That said, the way it attaches does not impact the efficacy of the product.

We received as a gift a couple months ago, and just as my son is getting big enough to kick the keys on his own, three of them stopped working. That was the B main reason we wanted one of these!

It talks in 3 languages (ie it says everything 3 times in a row, repeating in different languages). There is no feature to shut off the extra languages. Not many parents are trying to teach their children 3 languages at once so I find this feature incredibly distracting. Also, it's shown with a variety of rainbow colored rings but mine came with only all blue rings, I'm disappointed it's not as displayed.

This was a great purchase for my 5 month old grandson !!! Has many things to keep him entertained, This one with the piano is great Plays music and other educational sounds plus he can kick and play notes ! It’s more expensive than other ones, but I am very happy with my purchase. The only downfall is it’s not very padded, but I put a play mat underneath and it’s perfect.
