I tried out this chair in the store (different color) and thought it was good enough for the price (seemed comfy and wide enough) so I decided to order it online. I wanted a gliding recliner and I REALLY wanted the sage green color shown in the pictures. This was the only affordable chair I could find in that color. This color cost more but I thought it would be worth it. I should’ve believed the reviews that said it’s a much lighter green than pictured because they were right. It was too much of a hassle to return the chair and find a new one in time for baby to come so I kept it. I don’t mind the color but wish I hadn’t paid more for it. I do regret getting this style of chair (not the chair’s fault). For anyone looking for a nursery chair, I highly recommend getting an electric recliner because the last thing you want to be doing while holding a sleeping baby is slamming your legs against the footstool to get it to stay down. This chair is not easy to recline or decline. Also, the arms are too low and we have to use a pillow to hold the baby in the chair. I do think a gliding recliner in general is the right choice for a nursery chair though. You get what you pay for, I guess. Except for the color…

Chair will not stay reclined and the foot rest will not latch. It takes upwards of three attempts to close loc the foot rest in place.

Terrible. Purchased this chair twice. First one had flaws in the fabric and the recliner lever didn’t function properly. Returned that one and purchased a second one. Now a few months later this recliner lever has stopped working. This chair is junk.
Absolutely love this chair. It was easy to put together. I couldn't of picked a better chair!

I am used to a manual recliner, but the handle on this one is a small piece of metal between the arm of the chair & the seat. It was hard to get the foot up & I could not get it back down with only the handle...had to get out of the chair & push it back in. It's a pretty chair, but not for me!

If you want your baby to wake up every time you need to close the chair, then this is the chair for you! Takes multiple attempts every time, is loud and won’t stay reclined without needing to apply pressure/force. What a disappointing, large purchase.

I’ve had this chair for 5 months. It is very comfortable, soft, and looks great but it is extremely loud when rocking! The wood frame creaks and the glider mechanism makes a soothing clunk noise when I’m rocking my baby to sleep. I took part of the backing off to see if I could reinforce it but it’s not even clear which part is making the creaking sound. In addition to the sounds it makes, the footrest takes a great amount of force to close, which is extremely difficult to do when holding a baby. Don’t buy this chair, it’s a waste of your money.
Comfy but noisy

So comfy. Just too noisy. Love the soft fabric. I’m 5’2” and it’s the perfect size for me. We got it for my daughter’s nursery. She’s almost three. It’s held up well through lots of milk spills and playing on it. We tried to oil it to help stop the squeaking without any luck. Having a sound machine kinda helps drown out the creaking sound.

I bought this 2 years ago and have been wanting to write a review. I still use it and it still makes me so upset, enough to come write a review. Poor quality and design all around. Clicks when I rock back and forth (wakes the baby!) and the recliner does not recline back! I’m not heavy enough to keep it back.

We bought this chair in January 2019 for our daughter's nursey, and we've used it SOO much over the last 6 years through 2 children. It's so comfortable, and I spent more hours than I could ever count nursing my babies in this chair. Our second is just now transitioning from a nursery to a big boy room, and I'm seriously so sad that it's time to part with this chair. My son and ai still snuggle in it every night before laying him down. He actually loves it so much he asked if it can in his big boy room. I'm shocked to see all the bad reviews, so I had to show this chair some love because it's been a huge part of our lives the last 6 years, 4 years of which I spent nursing between my 2 Littles. Also, I will add it's held up incredibly well and still has a ton of life left!

I received my Daughter's chair today for her babyshower and it was delivered with a huge hole in the box that went all the went through ruining the chair as well. I called customer service to report this and they refused to overnight a shipment. Tried to tell me that I need to return this damanged chair to FedEx and then wait another 4 business days to get a replacement. I then told them I would not be waiting and I would drive the 1 1/2 hours to the store to get it exchanged but wanted compensated for it and they said the most I could give you in 20%. I feel like this is highly unacceptable being that I already waited the alotted time for the first shipment to arrive.

I am really surprised to see all the bad reviews on this chair. I’ve had this chair since 2019, bought it a few months before having my son in November of 2019 and maybe they make the newer ones differently, but ours is very comfortable, still looks great after over five years, has been moved to a new house and has been moved to many different rooms and we have had no problems whatsoever. It’s definitely not squeaky and hasn’t even come close to breaking. I agree you have to push down hard to get the footrest down, but it’s not THAT bad imo. I don’t know maybe I have really low standards when it comes to chairs haha
Do not waste your money!

The chair had stains, the backrest had scuff marks. Looks like this was returned by someone and company shipped to me. Target's CS has gone down the drain too, they refused any help except partial refund of 30 bucks or return it to the store. Asked the manufacturer for replacing at least one part but since target gave partial refund they don't want to cover it under warranty. How does partial refund manufacturer warranty? I would have returned if the due date wasn't close. I wish I had looked at the reviews earlier.

I bought this very overpriced chair because I was desperate for a green glider to match thr nursery. The color is beautiful, but is much lighter than pictured, it is more of a mint green than a sage. This rocker started squeaking after about a month of light use, 6 months in it is SO loud! I've had other gliders so I know that is to be expected to a certain degree, but not this soon and not this loud. Trying to rock a baby to sleep with the insane screeching of this chair is maddening. Do not buy.

I couldn't return it but have had for around 1 year now , we got it for rocking our baby but 3 months after getting it the footrest broke and now won't push down all the way- it comes up randomly and is a hazard. The back of the chair sinks in easily and has no lower back support.

The color, sage green, is beautiful but this recliner is the most uncomfortable chair I've ever had the displeasure of purchasing. The seat cushion is so firm it feels like I'm sitting on a wooden bench with a skinny cushion and the back is so firm and upright you feel like you're leaning forward. The recliner lever is buried between the cushion and the inside of the chair and it's not easy to operate. It doesn't operate the recliner, it unlocks the mechanism so you have to use your muscles to push into a reclining position.

I do not like to bash on products but having used this chair for a little over a year I will say. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS CHAIR!! 1) The footrest is so stiff you have to put a significant amount of pressure into closing it. So much so that both my partner and I need to make three to four attempts to close it every. time. we. get. up. We usually have to fully stand first (while it is pushing against your legs mind you) and then give it a donkey kick which results in a loud clicking noise that wakes the baby about 9 out of 10 times. 2) It doesn't stay reclined, like at all! To keep the chair reclined takes a lot of force pushing constantly off the footrest. I am 5' 3" and my partner is 5' 8" and we are both over the maximum 225 and neither of us can get it to stay reclined no matter what we try (shifting our weight back onto the backrest STILL doesn't work). 3) Our chair also developed the dreaded squeak, though it took until recently to do so and is why I am finally typing this review!
