Horrible! Don’t buy this! It SMELLS so bad of chemicals. My entire house stinks. It’s been a few days since I built it. Need to return and get it out of my house immediately. So gross!

We’ve left it outside for at least two weeks and it still smells. Many days it was in direct sunlight and I was hoping that would help. It makes me wonder if some of the colors don’t smell as bad since some reviews are good. We have the white.

Poor construction-pieces did not line up, there was slight damage to the legs upon opening. The worst part is the smell. Do NOT assemble inside. Our entire house smelled. Left out in the garage and brought in after two days and the smell did not dissipate. It’s going back to Target as soon as I disassemble the unit.

really happy with the quality of these shelves however the smell that others have mentioned is out of this world bad and given that this is for children i am really concerned about toxin exposure. also the person who said they assembled this in 5 minutes was either on crystal meth or is a superhero - its a very easy assembly but takes about 45 minutes.

Cute, sturdy bookshelf! Perfect as a side table next to my baby gap rocker. It did smell when we first put it together but started to fade after a week. I don’t smell anything now.

I had seen a few reviews mentioning the horrible smell but I had hoped I would get lucky and not experience it. Oh my gosh. So awful... the whole house smelled and even after putting it outside the smell did not dissipate. Very dissapointed as this was the size I needed for my granddaughters room... Returning asap!!

Strong chemical odor. It is still in the garage being aired out. I can’t believe this is for a baby.

We absoultely love Delta Children furniture so when I saw this bookcase, I had to have it. It arrived quickly, was packaged well and it was very easy to assemble. I love the quality and the clean look of the white in our space. It blends really well with our existing furniture which I appreciate. The bins are adorable and it's great for storing toys and books!

The bookcase is one of the cutest additions to our son’s room! We love how it is perfect height for him, sturdy, and it matches his bear chair from the same Gap and Delta line. You will not be disappointed with this bookcase! We also love how versatile it can be and will be able to utilize it for years to come.

Assembly was straight forward and it came with these cute natural colored bear bins! Looks great with our toys and books. The color goes perfect in our nursery. I love the natural wood trim and feet. I love that once my son is older we can easily transition this to a more mature look. Speaking on the smell I didn’t noticed a foul smell on ours! Maybe a slight paint smell but we’ve had it for 2 weeks now and I don’t smell anything.
