A: The Babyletto Scoot Crib takes a mattress at least 51.625 x 27.25" and no more than 6" thick. We recommend using one of our non-toxic Pure by Babyletto mattresses. Good luck in your search!
submitted byThe MDB Family - 9 years agoBrand expertA: There really are SO many options it almost seems ridiculous. Crib mattresses are all the same size (except "mini crib" mattresses). I have the babyletto crib that my 4 month old sleeps in. We bought the "Sealy cozy dreams extra firm mattress" because it had good reviews and seemed to be in the mid range for price. I just have a couple mattress pads that go on to make it a little more plush for baby. Hope that helps!

A: It is very sturdy! I have been using mine scoot crib for years and now turning into a full size bed. It is not weak at all and no tendency to break.

A: You should be good with purchasing one standard size crib mattress and be able to use it for all the heights.You may consider the crib mattress options offered under the Babyletto brand, also available on Target.

A: The Hudson and Scoot have similar features except for aesthetics. Both can be converted into a toddler bed and day bed and includes a toddler bed conversion kit. A separate toddler bed conversion kit can be purchase for either crib for a different look than the images provided on this page.

2 stars. Minus 1 for each of the 3 hours this thing took to build. Literally every step is a coin toss on orientation. Expect to undo and redo several times on your journey to completion. Poor hardware.

Overall seems like good quality. Instructions were very vague and it took a while to put together. Several screws did not fit as expected and needed a lot of maneuvering to make it work. Scratched easily when using the Allen wrench to assemble.

We have had this for 3 years. Baby officially transitioned into the Toddler-style of this crib at 20 months because she was an escape artist. Like some others have mentioned, the wear and tear on the top railing faded quicker than I could have imagined. Make sure to buy guard rails if you decide to purchase this crib. Great value, sturdy.

Crib pieces arrived well-packaged. Assembly was easy- directions provided were very clear and easy to follow. Did need two people at times to tighten all the pieces together and it took a few hours from start to finish, but we’ll worth it. Highly recommend.

We love the style of this crib and would get it again in a heartbeat! Although I wish the metal support was white to blend in with the frame so we could avoid using a crib skirt. Also, after only 5 months use, the wood at the top has started to peel from leaning over it while wearing PJs with buttons.

This crib arrived fast and my husband was able to put it together fairly quickly. There was a small dent on one of the top side bars, but no other visible damage/defects. The manufacturer is sending a replacement for the piece with the dent free of charge. The crib is exactly how I envisioned. I would have given 5 stars if it didn't arrive partially damaged. I love the style and can't wait to see my baby boy in it!

I bought this crib 2 years ago when I had my first baby and loved it! I love the look and the contrast of the walnut and the white. I just bought the exact same crib again for my second son. The two boys are sharing a room and the cribs look great together! they will also last us a while with the toddler conversion kit.

Bought this for my son and daughter in-law and had to return it because of cracks in the railings in two places. The new one sent was perfect and a nice quality crib and looks great! Also target gave me the $50 target card that was a promotion with the original purchase so I didn’t lose that when I returned the first crib!

EXTREMELY disappointed in this product. The crib would be wonderful, but when we received it, one of the natural wood boards on the top of the crib had what looked like mud stuck all over it. We didn't think it was too big of a deal and would simply wash it off after it was assembled. Not the case. It appears that the mud was splattered on the wood and then finish was placed over the top, so there is no way to remove the mud without sanding the piece down completely. It looks terrible being that it is on the top of the crib, in a very visible place, and against a very light color. I would have hoped for much better quality control with a crib of this price.

I purchased the babyletto scoot in the while and natural wood color. The wood is EXACTLY as pictured. I was able to put the crib together myself at 31 weeks pregnant! Not too bad. Only thing when putting together make sure you do step 2 before step 1 or the feet don’t fit into the frame. Other than that I did not have any difficulty putting the crib together and it’s beautiful. I cannot wait to see my little girl sleeping in it!
