These are the best flat irons I've ever had, gets very hot

Lightweight, heats up fast, vents help protect my hair, so easy to use and manipulate with hair. Leaves hair smooth with some shine. I use after I wash my hair and blow dry. I can even use on my hair when damp; love it. I am a happy customer, thank you.

Product worked so incredibly well on my hair. I just need to be careful when making curls so i dont catch a hold of the hot edge of the plate

It also glides over the hair smoothly leaving soft, frizzless hair. It's also compact and easy to pack for traveling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like to think that I'm a connoisseur of good hair gadgets, I could practically open my own salon with everything that I've bought over the years in search of the best of the best. I have to say that this straightening iron is really impressive. I have waist length thick hair that has a slight wave and tends to frizz and I can have my whole head pin straight within ten minutes. The plates on the iron are big enough that I don't have to use tiny sections - I'm able to straighten a good amount of hair in one pass. This iron has a nice long cord with a swivel at the end so I can easily move about while doing my hair. I own a similar iron that I've had for at least five years that I always end up turning off accidentally due to the placement of the power button and I was disappointed to see that this iron has a similar placement. However, they seem to have improved this function in that you need to press and hold the power button to turn the iron off. It's definitely an improvement over my older model (I still LOVE my older version - the power button was my one gripe and it was really due to user error.) If you're looking for a straightening iron that heats up fast, holds a constant temperature, glides through hair easily and leaves your hair looking like glass without a hint of frizz, look no further!

It does feel like it's doing less damage to my hair but I had to raise the heat to get it as straight as I normally like. For reference I have long, wavy and very thick hair. Took about 20 minutes to finish all my hair.

I still prefer the ceramic ones. But for the keratin treatment it's really awesome. I love the different temperatures offered and how lightweight it is.

It doesn't get as hot as other's I have used but that's probably good for my hair. I like that i can increase the temperature and there are multiple levels. Even after my hair being in a ponytail for a while, this straightener is able to flatten the bump left behind. I have tried to use it to curl my hair but I am not skilled enough to do that. The heating surface goes all the way to the edge so it probably works well for curling. I do dislike that feature also because I have burned my ear and forehead a few times. Overall a good straightener that I am pleased with. I have stopped using my old one and switched to this one.

Great flat iron and I love the large plates for making big voluminous flat iron curls and for bumping the end of straight hair. I'm still not exactly sure what the vents are for, maybe if you straighten your hair wet/damp but I don't.
