Q: Is there anyway to remove the painted flowers so that the bed is plain?

A: Thanks for your question. The only way to remove the painted flowers would be to sand the paint off and repaint the toy. Please note that this would change the product from the original safety tested condition and would void the Badger Basket manufacturer's warranty. This was the worst waste of money that I have ever spent. I bought 2 of these unfortunately, and they were both literally broken on the first day of play. I have nothing good to say about this product. Do not buy!

It was okay. One of the pre-drilled screw holes was striped out. I had to put a toothpick in the hole so I could tighten up the screw. I don't know how long that will last. If I had it to go over, I probably would have spent more and got one of a little better quality.

Bought this for our twin 5-yr-old granddaughters to use with their Our Generation dolls. Bed was easy to assemble and very solid. I covered the white bedding with pink/white fabric I had to match the pink in the decorative detail. I left the white roll pillow as is. I attached some small velcro to the bed and back of the ladder so it would stay in place (as suggested from a previous review I read). It worked great and the twins are loving their doll beds.

Sturdy and Pretty Doll Bed

This is a very pretty, solid doll bunk bed. I gave it to two granddaughters about three years ago and it is still in perfect shape. They are not the neatest or gentlest little girls but the bed is not chipped, the hand painted roses and leaves are still vivid, and the pillows and bedding have not torn nor become threadbare. My daughter told me today that both girls put their new nightgowns and caps on their dolls and put them to bed in their bunk bed for the last two nights. I was so satisfied with this bunk bed that I ordered another one for another pair of granddaughters for Christmas this year. My granddaughters range in age from two to ten and this bed is suitable for these ages and even older. The younger baby girls will be using this bed for their dolls when they are older because this is a quality product that is built for years of use.

The bed will be great once we get the replacement parts that work! The detailed painting on the bed is cute. The bed seems sturdy. However, I have to give a rating of 2 stars because the first shipment was not packaged securely. One of the bed pieces was beginning t crack due to the package being crushed. One of the bed rails was not fitted properly and would not permit the bolt to attach. I sent for replacement parts---they came within a week. But, once again, there was a defect in the bed rail. This time the small wooden dowel was not big enough to fit in the hole on the headboard. A replacement piece is being sent again. Having a daughter that is waiting to play with this item and can't because of a defective parts makes me give it a 2 star rating. On a positive note, the company has been easy to deal with.

So my cats love this. It's easy to assemble and clean. the bedding and materials are cheap, but i ordered some nice washable pet beds to fit them. Also, nothing holds the ladder in place.

Bunk beds are very cute. We bought them for our 6 year old daughter to use with her 18" doll (American Girl) and it fits perfectly. The ladder is more for decoration -- it just lays against bed, but it is all very cute. Bedding is included, but more of a mattress pad (not blanket) and some pillows. We use some pretty "burp cloths" as doll blankets. She loves it.

Great bed with good construction.....bedding cheap thin gauze like material but thanks to Grammie bedding was made, pillow cover, mattress cover, blankets and additional pillows and it is great!
