All of our food products are free of gluten, dairy, or nuts. Allergens may be present or processed in other foods at a different time in the same facility. We have effective procedures in place to avoid cross-contamination of our products, but we cannot guarantee they were made in a facility that is free of any of those allergens. I hope this helps!

Allows for small batches. I was thrilled to use this for my tart cherry jelly. I have used SureGel (SureJell?) all my life. Now I will stick with this product for preserves and also for thickening fruit pies and bars, especially when they need to be gluten free.

I purchased this as well as the Ball 16oz 12pk Glass Wide Mouth Mason Jar with Lid and Band. They have recipes and instructions on their website. The pectin was very easy to use. This was my first time making jam, and now that I can do it, I will not be purchasing store bought again. Thanks Ball!

I love this pectin, I'm able to get perfect strawberry jalapeno jam every time. For those interested in how many batches per jar, there are 18 tablespoons per container.

The only other review complained about poor customer service - which is a review of Target, not the product. I've made a ton of strawberry jelly with this stuff and it turned out great. Easy recipe on the side - I made 4 pints in about 30 minutes. Firms up great.

After ordering 4 cases of canning jars to have them delivered broken, then the replacement jars broke as well when delivered I was told they would not replace again and that my refund would have to be a Target gift card. I decided I did not need any more brown jars so I used some of the gift card credit to order 4 jars of Ball Classic Pectin. The 4 jars I received the BEST BUY dates were wiped off as seen in the attached photo.
I do not see the point of asking for a replacement or a refund as 3 orders in a row of 2 different items have arrived non-usable and I do not want a stupid gift card that I will NEVER use as I really do not plan to order from Target online EVER AGAIN.
I will just eat the $47.04 I paid for the original order and was (only given a $35.85 credit gift card) as a loss and lesson learned.
I do find it hard to believe that Target would be selling outdated and Best Buy dates removed on FOOD ITEMS. I would suggest online or in-store everyone really takes a look at the BEST BUY dates.
I can't use this Pectin and take the chance of it not working properly and being out the cost of the food I that I'm canning as well and the loss for the outdated Pectin.
