A: Hi Des, thanks for your interest in our products! The Ball 4pk Pint Vintage Jars - Pink is a canning jars and when used properly they can be used multiple times. Canning jars have a life expectancy of 10 to 13 years. The lid can only be used once for canning.

These are definitely not a light pink nothing like the picture. These are at best a very dark mauve or light amethyst so a little disappointed in that I was really hoping for that light pink.

Was hoping for a true pink,these are a light purple lavender. The glass is smooth bur looks pebble and rippled . I don't care for these,especially compared to the aqua blue ones I have

I wanted to replace some of the blue jars I had lost due to lending and not receiving a return. But no more blue. So I got these pink ones that are very cute! I use them for everything. Always so cheerful to see I. The fridge full of fruit salad or coleslaw to grab when packing lunch for the family. These are also great for smoothies. I prepare and freeze lids off and pop in the lunch as well. Try it!

These are pretty. A less bright color than pictured. However, they can with lids that are dull (to add authenticity to the vintage vibe?) rough to the touch and even one with a bit of rust. Given that I'm a little nervous about the lids, I'll replace with the standard lids I use for canning. Also, with these limited edition jars, uses are not listed on the packaging. It would very helpful if it was.

These look nothing like the picture. They are definitely purple, rather than the rosy pink color pictured and described. They also have a completely smooth finish, rather than the pebbled appearance in the pictures.
