Q: Can I use adhesive strips or command products to hand this curtain or is it too heavy?

submitted byPatriot2019 - 4 years agoA: Hi Tbaroatt - This is a great curtain rod that would look beautiful in your home. We only recommend using the included hardware for installation. Thanks for asking. - Heather
submitted byHeather - 4 years agoTarget staff supportA: Not advisable, especially as this is a Double Ball Curtain Rod the rods alone are heavier not to mention the double curtains which we don't recommend to be over 20 lbs. when properly installed using the brackets.
submitted byProduct Expert - 4 years agoBrand expertA: No This box does not include all shown above. Its a rod and the extension to add to it. There is no double rod in box. as shown

Q: Is there enough room between the two rods to accommodate a grommet curtain in front and sheer in back? Thanks.
A: Hi DFB, The “thickness of both curtain fabrics” may be of some concern, but the main point is to stay within the weight-bearing limits. When using 2 end brackets we recommend max. 20 lbs. (@ 10 kg.) and with 3 brackets max. 33 Lbs. (@15kg) total weight limits; this is when properly installed in the correct positions, under normal conditions, and with properly secured anchors and screws. You may exceed these limits slightly if you have good strong material you are installing the brackets into, but these are our general recommendations for your reference.
submitted byProduct Expert - 2 years agoBrand expertA: Hi - Yes, there is. Please keep in mind the thickness of both curtain fabrics. - Thanks for inquiring!

Q: I can't figure out how to assemble the smaller (2nd) rod. One of the rods has a blockage that prevents me from connecting it to any other rod.
A: Hi Ant, Please refer to Step 8 in the product Installation Manual. It explains how to assemble the rods and shows a clear illustration for you to see. If you no longer have the manual please send us an email and we can send you the manual in a PDF file. customerservice@gcind.com.tw
submitted byProduct Expert - 3 years agoBrand expertA: I had this same problem. I took off the finials and then rearranged everything. I was able to make it work. What a pain though. The manufacturer didn't seem to put much though into that.

Q: does the center support bracket need to be used if I am going to be extending it to 72 inches?
A: Hi Kait, Especially for the Double Rod Sets which tend to have to carry more weight than single rods, we always recommend using the middle support bracket. But it really depends on the weight of the curtain material you are using. In general, when using 2 end brackets we recommend max. 20 lbs. (@ 10 kg.) and with 3 brackets max 33 Lbs. (@15kg) total weight limits; this is when properly installed in the correct positions, under normal conditions, and with properly secured anchors and screws. Hope that helps.
