I literally hate the “NEW” product”.. the Salisbury steak used to be my go to knowing at least I had a favorite, cheap tv dinner. My appetite sucks so I always had a banquet salisbury frozen dinner on hand (5 on standby) for years and for the caloric intake (even though it was bad quality but satisfied me) The mashed potatoes and the meat SUCKS (I do love the spoonful of corn and the spoonful of apples 🙄) but will NEVER buy another one! I’m eating my last one now (out of pure desperation re: surgery and no transportation) and had a bite of corn and apples and tried to throw out the “meat, potatoes and gravy” (if that’s what you call it) to my feral cats outside and even they wouldn’t eat it! Why “fix” something if it’s not broken.. BAD PRODUCT!! You’ve lost a reliable customer FOR YEARS, never to return. Sucks 👎🏻

Unfortunately you can't do zero stars, as others have said outing the steak on top of the potatoes was the worst idea! It comes out as a gravy potatoes soup that you have to soak in salt for any taste at all! I used to get this meal often when I was younger and single now in my retirement I will only get the mac an cheese Salisbury meal if at all. Also I used to get a veal and spaghetti meal which I don't see any more either!!!

As others have said, potatoes are not right compared to just a few weeks ago. 2nd meal I've found that they are like wet flakes, instead of creamy mashed potatoes. They look like rice in water, not potatoes.

I have always liked banquet frozen TV Dinners and especially the Salsbury Steak. It's changed now and actually quite terrible. The meat was colorless and had no taste. Worst it is now on top of the mashed potatos which never firmed up. The bar-b-q souce was all mixed in with very little on the item passed off as meat. The only thing that was good was the tablespoon of corn. They have ruined a great American frozen dinner. Tons of complaints yet they continue to sell it. Well I guess I don't like banquet anymore. Sad. Terrible change and who ever thought to put the new tasteless and colorless meat product on top of the horrible mashed potato soup should be fired.

You've changed. Trust me when I say "it's you not me. "For as long as I can remember...if we wanted tv dinners, it meant Salisbury steak. I don't know what boot licker changed the recipe but it tastes horrible now. You have managed to ruin a perfect food. I would rather have original recipe instead of qpple slop

I have been eating these meals for years. They aren't the greatest, but they are quick, edible and filling. The last one I bought had "mashed" potatoes that wouldn't dissolve in the "gravy". The potatoes (if that's what they were) appeared to be tiny white chunks that would not dissolve in the gravy. It looked very unappetizing. I threw the meal away. I will not be buying any more.

This is my usual go to meal when I have a taste for Salisbury steak but lately the apples have been missing from them. I just made on and it literally had 2 apple cubes my grandkids would be mad at so little dessert.

This was always my go to meal but I am so sad and disappointed on the new taste. I am not a big fan and I hope you will revert to the old recipe. Even the cook time is longer than the suggested amount 2-3 minutes

These dinners you to be a decent “Go To” when you where hungry and didn’t have a lot of time but since the change in the white plastic serving plates the amount of food you get and definitely the quality in taste is awful.After many years of eating Banquet products I’m done with them and Conagra the parent company and there lame practices ! Proudly made in the USA since 1953 is a joke with this awful food !

Why did you mix the potatoes with the steak and make it like some kind of soup mush. It was awful. The steak looked a weird pasty white color and was much smaller. When did you start doing this? Is Banquet trying to save money on the meat?

Quality has gone down hill. The mashed potatoes in the last three dinners was watery. A can of potato soup is thicker. In the last dinner I purchased I noticed that the amount of corn was about half of what there used to be. Then I saw corn kernels in the dessert. Will not purchase again. This makes the third Banquet item I will never buy again.
