Barbie A Touch of Magic Chelsea Doll Playset with Baby Pegasus

Purchased for my daughter’s birthday. We opened it today and upon trying to put the stable/stage together I noticed the pink pieces that connect the yellow curtain together were the same exact side so I am unable to put it together. Daughter is disappointed and unable to return or report an issue due to purchasing in advance and the return window expired.

Ordered this online as a gift and it was so cute, so worth it and made a great barbie gift for my 5 yr old daughter.

My daughter loved the today And loved the whole idea of Chelsea having pink hair and the horse changing hair color but unfortunately the horse hair never changed color like it should’ve so that was very disappointing to a toddler. Overall she loved the toy.

This is a perfect addition to other Chelsea sets but is more than enough as a stand alone set. This is great for Chelsea fans. It provides a creative space for imaginative play. It does require assembly that was quick and easy to do.

She loves the unicorn and cat and this made a great addition to her barbie house.

Chelsea's pink hair was a big draw for my child; who knew just a change in hue would make the doll seem to special, so different? We also love the pegasus with the color changing hair, the pet puppicorn (though, there is some debate among my kids as to whether this is a puppy or a bunny.) I love that there are three substantial "characters" with the set, so all the kids can play together and "be" someone that belongs in the special world. There is a slide that the critter can go down, a table with treats, and a stable for the horse friend, all in fun shades of pink, purple, and blue. This set was instantly a fave in our house and I look forward to finding more "touch of magic" sets.

The parts are very tiny so make sure to keep away from smaller kids. The dangling stars falls off easily so be mindful to avoid losing it. Keeps her entertained for at least 1-2hrs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Barbie a Touch of Magic Chelsea Playset was an instant hit! Included in the playset is a Chelsea doll, a unicorn and a bunnicorn. The Chelsea has pink hair, fun clothes & accessories. The Unicorn has hair that turns pink with cool water, but changes back when warm. This playset was easy to put together, which included a stable, slide, table and benches. There is food, a pool, a comb and brush. Water can be poured from the top of the stable, through the cloud to rain down on the unicorn (or whatever) while they are in the pool. Very fun, very cool and very cute. Definitely recommend Barbie a Touch of Magic Chelsea Playset!

They are nine and two and they love to add this playset to their barbie dream hosue. They love the color changing horses hair and spent a few hours playing with this set.

My 3 year old loves having toys with small pieces like the ones in this set. She also really likes the smaller Barbie’s like Chelsea and they are great for her smaller hands.

And she also commented on how she wanted pink hair to match chelsea . Anything that includes water and changing colors is always a hit with her. This set was fairly easy to assemble and includes a good amount of items with it. The horse/unicorn stable set up is really cute for Chelsea to tend to her horse, the purple doors open and close . She is able to take a nice break and enjoy a little cupcake at the table and chairs. The star slide is the perfect size for any little Barbie pet or Chelsea doll to go down! We even added a little pool at the end of it to make it more fun. I would definitely recommend any Barbie lover (especially pets) to add to your collection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Magic Chelsea playset is very cute and I was impressed by the amount of play pieces it comes with. I didn't expect so much assembly would be required for the stable, but the directions were good and easy to follow. Some pieces required some force to snap together and took some time, but the end result looks nice and very colorful, which my girls really loved. The quality of the hair on Chelsea and the unicorn were surprisingly nice and soft. I took few stars off though because of the quality of some pieces. The plastic piece used to keep the unicorn hair packaged in the box was extremely difficult to remove, and I ended up cutting my finger on it while trying to remove it. The wing arm bands for Chelsea doll seemed to not be a correct set, but two of the same bands because they sit/face the same direction, unlike the picture on the box. A major issue and flaw was the unicorn feet are all facing the wrong direction, and also very uneven, preventing it from standing well. It tips very easily and was impossible for my girls to stand it up without my help, and even I struggled with it. Another major disappointment was the pink cloud unicorn shower. The water does not trickle down like a shower, but drips a bit and then the water just sits in it. Overall, it is a nice cute set and offers a wide variety of play possibilities. Perhaps we just got very unlucky with a flawed set, which is disappointing.
