I bought doll for my niece (6) who wants to be an art teacher and an art therapy doll seemed on theme. She loved all the moving parts (and stickers) and playing it with her was so wonderful and great way to not only teacher emotional awareness, but help her to learn it for herself (and show me how much she’s already aware of)

This doll is cute my daughter loved it and keeps saying it’s her and her teacher lol.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mattel really did an exceptional job with this Barbie doll set! I am so glad that my daughter has it! It hit all the bases by including therapy, art and a therapy kitten. I love how this doll encourages my child to speak about her feelings and emotions. It could even be used to spark conversation about my child's day. My daughter loved how Barbie was so flexible. Barbie's arms feet and legs have a great range of motion. The child doll's shirt even changes to show the emotion she is feeling in the moment. My daughter played with this set for over an hour. If there was a doll set that I would recommend to anyone, it would be this one. This is a must-have!

Barbie is an art therapist and it includes some artwork and little art accessories. A little pet cat is also included. There are some small pieces that may be hard to keep track of.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Barbie set is so fun and interactive! My 5 year old daughter loves to act out scenarios with the dolls and pretend she is a teacher/doctor. There are a ton of fun accessories to use while playing.

I also really love the non verbal flip on the student’s stomach to indicate her feelings! The only thing I am not fond of is the therapist’s hair quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did 3 out of 4 of my kids start arguing over this toy as soon as it arrived? Yes, yes they did. Thankfully there were enough pieces for them to all play together. My artsy daughter loves it the most but it’s been fun for them all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In many days of play, this has become a new favorite in our house. The two dolls allow flexibility for many hours of imaginative play. The larger doll of the two is one of the most posable dolls we have seen with many sitting and standing positions. Our older daughter has nicknamed it the "I can do anything doll" for this reason. The small doll's rotating emoji shirt allows a "mood" to be visible to those playing. We did find the rotation feature a bit hard to use. Both of our daughters would get frustrated by the feature occasionally if they couldn't rotate to the emoji they wanted. The included accessories are quite small and the glasses and tablet are hard to position without falling off. There are a couple small paper art pieces, charts and stickers that are of use only in a few rounds of initial play. As with many sets of this variety, the packaging can be a challenge and take some time to open, especially with anxious kids ready to play! We look forward to exploring other sets in this collection.

The stickers are fantastic and teach many emotions. The set is great for imaginative play. The hair on the Barbies is well rooted and so soft. The features are amazingly well done.

She also loves how flexible both the Barbie’s are compared to other Barbies since normally Barbies don’t sit crosslegged. Wonderful set, lots of fun!

My daughter loved that Barbie was fully jointed and could bend her elbows and knees. She also loved that you can change the face on the dress of the Chelsea doll to express how she felt.

My daughter especially loves the painted picture it comes with of the girl and her art teacher. The colors are vivid and attractive to her eye. The Chelsea's shirt rotates to show her different emotions. This is a unique feature and a great way to relate to children. There are many quality accessories, including an adorable class pet kitty, glue, paints and pink glasses! The bendy teacher doll, full outfit for Barbie, bright colors and fun things to play with, make this a fun set. It is a big hit in our house. The quality is amazing, 5 out of 5 stars!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 year old enjoyed the Barbie Art Therapist doll. The first part he grabbed was the stickers, which he put all over his shirt. He liked that he could move the Barbie's arms and legs easily. He also liked switching the face emotions on the little girl doll and said meow when he held the kitty. I think it's great that Barbie has a therapist doll available to show kids they can be a good person to know. All of the small pieces the dolls were supposed to hold were not of interest to him and the dolls didn't keep his interest very long, so I think this Barbie might be better for elementary school ages children.

She likes that the Barbie doll has moveable legs and enjoys creating stories about teaching and using art as a tool for expression. The little accessories are great and add realism into the play. The only critique is she wishes the doll was easier to manipulate with her legs. She found it a little hard to bend the legs in the right way but overall loves this set!

My daughter and granddaughter are loving the dolls and they’re having conversations about how children with special needs can benefit greatly from art therapy sessions. The dolls are well made, the hair is good, and the spinning emotion dial is very unique. The art studio set is cute and if you use the background from the box, you can make it look like a real art studio.
