Barbie Careers Women in Film Set of 4 Dolls with Removable Looks & Accessories

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These set of Barbie Career dolls was something I honestly didn't think was possible going back to my time with Barbies. The outfits of choice could be used in several types of career paths for any child. Great for imaginary career diversity play. Each doll can change or add to the wardrobe, flexible for poses or use with other Barbie accessories. A great purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Movie Star- Pros: Gorgeous non-pixelated face screening, beautiful dress, dress pattern continues all the way around. Cons: The accessories were well thought out. Wish they looked more metallic. Cinematographer- Pros: Cute outfit finished all the way around. Cons: Pixelated face screening. Wish the arms were articulated so that she could hold the camera she comes with. Director-Pros: Cute doll. Love the accessories. The jumpsuit is finished all the way around. Cons-Pixelated face screening. Wish the outfit were more realistic denim and the buttons and pockets were not printed. The script would be more durable it were made of hard plastic instead of paperboard. Would’ve preferred a black headset. Studio Executive-Pros: Pretty face, excellent outfit, love that she has the petite body type. Cons: Pixelated face screening. Wish the skirt was made of fabric and the glasses were see through.

Like the fashionista line of dolls each doll is a different shape, height and size. My kids loved all of the cool film accessories that came with the set. There’s enough for each doll to have something of their own. It’s a great set for any Barbie fan.

The dolls have accessories that are perfectly fitting for the profession. A very easy toy to open to be able to share since it comes with 4 dolls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love recreating the Barbie Movie with this set! And the dolls are a good mix (skin, hair, and body type) so it feels nice and inclusive and easier to have then reenact the characters in the movie. The clothes feel really nice, especially the puffy-haired ones jumpsuit and the skirt of the brunette. The biggest qualm I have is that the blonde is supposed to hold the camera (if you base it on the pictures on the back) but the bent arm is not short enough to hold the camera. Only the brunette can hold the camera since her arm is more 90° to hold the camera. Kids don't care though. The set is honestly beautiful and I almost didn't want to give it to the kids! And I would've personally love to see that whatever is on the puffy haired doll neck labeled

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Each character came with it's own personalized accessories relating to their job. It had everyone we needed to help get a movie made. The script was a little flimsy and but the camera made up for it. Each doll was ready to help create a movie making experience.

Her favorite is movie star, her hair and beautiful gown. The director with cell phone is a close second. She loves the clothes. Wants to take them everywhere with her.

They were beautifully dressed, especially the barbie in the sparkly dress. My girls both played with these and other barbies for hours. Such a great set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First Mattel has done a great job of helping little girls realize they can be anything including the film industry. At first glance the dolls all seem to be previous fashionista doll molds. The clothing is made very well and detailed. Just wish that we could have gotten newer face molds for this set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Barbie career play set was totally enjoyed. She was extremely excited and inquisitive as soon as the saw the dolls included in the set. She was excited to read the description of the professions of each doll. Additionally, she loved that there were numerous dolls included with the set. She also liked incorporating some of her other Barbie toys while playing with the dolls. The accessories included with the were an added bonus. The only negatives were that the accessories didn’t fit on the dolls well. The video camera was not long enough to fit on her shoulder while being held in her hand. The microphone nor the award could be easily held in the hands of the dolls. Additionally the head set didn’t seem to fit properly. Other than the the issues with the accessories the set of dolls were a joy to play with.

This set comes with 4 dolls, all female, that have different careers in the film industry, an actress, a director, a cinematographer, and a studio executive. My little girl loves playing with them and acting out different scenes with them. The dolls come with lots of cute little accessories like an Oscar award, a videocamera, a cellphone, a clapboard, and a script, to name a few. I love the representation of these dolls, everyone is included! The only issue my daughter had was with some of the accessories not staying in the dolls hands, but that’s a minor issue. She loves playing with them!

Perfect as a gift or to buy for yourself, this product comes with four beautiful dolls great for playing with or as collectors items. Each doll has her own unique accessories that perfectly complement her specific career, but these accessories would not be suitable for very young children so take caution with those items. The Movie Star doll has a stunning sparkling dress with matching shoes and jewelry plus an award. The Cinematographer doll comes with a casual outfit and a camera. Her t-shirt is a great reminder to "Chase Dreams." Equipped with a headset and script, the Director doll has a fun denim outfit with red shoes. Last, but certainly not least, the Executive doll has a very simple but stylish business outfit consists of a skirt, t-shirt, and coat with heels plus a cell phone and sunglasses. One of the many great things about this set is the diversity of the dolls - different ethnicities, body types, fashion styles. I think this set is a GREAT value for all you get in one package, and I would highly recommend it!
