I'm so glad Target did a better job with this launch. Lebron was well crafted and it helps when the subject is part of the creative process. I do agree with the others for the price point I expected more clothes or something like a signed note from Lebron himself. I also think the doll is a tad bit darker than he is in real life but other than that it's well crafted and makes a perfect collectors item. This was a special request for hubby's birthday.

I didn’t like that Target informed me at 8 am that it may be on the truck as it wasn’t made available on 4/14 as shown in stock on Target App. After I told the employee that in stock means it’s been accounted for. As about to leave I see the employee wheeling out a white cart with a few Labron James on it. It suddenly appeared which was unfortunate as people already left emptied handed. Only allowed one, never indicated on the app only one each can be purchased. I’m sure Target employees were holding LeBron back for themselves. Love the LeBron Ken, not so happy with Target employees, thus the 4 stars. I was able to purchase another that day at same price elsewhere.

So like others attempted to purchase at Mattel which indeed sold out in a matter of minutes. However the very next day I was able to get him from a local Target. I have taken him out of the box. While LeBron's tall frame mold is not mtm he does have quite a few movable joints. His features are spot on and I love it, however I would say the skin tone is a shade too dark, so much so that the tattoos appear chocolate colored and faded. I wish they had printed them in black so that they'd be legible. That reason alone if posing or playing I'd suspect more fading in time. The outfit was fashion and fire. Some notes...his socks are not true socks. And on my LeBron the back of the jacket lettering is not firmly sealed to the jacket. This is something you wouldn't know if not removing from box and I'm not certain if this is just my doll. I do wish that aside from the branded accessories, certificate and stand that he'd come with a basketball and uniform, perhaps a trophy or ring. Overall happy with my purchase and looking forward to more iconic Kenbassadors from different fields.*issues attaching pics. MATTEL:Obama, Denzel... hint, hint😉

Since buying this, my life has gotten 10x better. Every time I wake up to the king right next to me I can't help but smile.

As a Black Barbie collector, this is my 406th Barbie but only 3rd Ken. I’m thrilled to own this doll and it looks great! The face mold is excellent and the quality of the doll is top tier. LeBron James was a great choice for the 1st Kenbassador. He seems to be a good husband, father, and businessman. The fact he’s a good bball player is a bonus. Well done Barbie/Mattel. I look forward to more Kenbassador Barbies in the future.

Lucky to have grabbed one of these the day they released! My son will love this (but I may not let him open the box) pricey but worth it for the limited edition factor
