Sharp and easy to use. This is an eye-pleasing and effective tool. Sturdy and well made. I know I will have it for many, many years!

“I purchased these hoping for a durable, high-quality pair of garden pruners to quickly carry out tasks around the farm. Unfortunately, they ended up being squeaky, had a broken safety latch, and started to rust. I ended up choosing other brands for my needs..

Nice hand fit with consistent spring and not heavy. Cuts are clean and it's handy to carry in its case. Great gift for yourself or your favorite gardner.

My wife and I are serious gardeners. We burn through gloves and pruners. This is a long lasting, quality product at a great price.

These need improvement.

Impossible to use the locking mechanism

So excited about these, and I thought the locking mechanism was a little difficult to use at first. Now after using these for about a month, I can no longer lock them. What type of “high quality” product comes with this design flaw?!

I rely on the Barebones Pruners for both urban landscape management and trail clearing in rugged mountain environments. These pruners have exceeded my expectations with their simple yet solid design. What sets them apart is their durability and well crafted construction. I appreciate how well they maintain their sharp edge and their ease of dismantling for resharpening. The pruners also secure firmly in the sheath, making them convenient to carry and ensuring my safety on challenging terrains. Unlike the poorly made competitor set I used before discovering the Barebones brand, these pruners are in a league of their own in terms of quality, durability, and overall performance. I highly recommend them for anyone seeking reliable tools that can withstand heavy use and deliver exceptional results.
Well crafted tool. Highly recommend.

The minimalist design of the shears actually produces the impression of being simply cheap. The handles are slippery especially when wet or when wearing fabric gloves. The shape of the handles is not ergonomic and does not fit the palm well. Pruning just

Lost the copper bolt to the pruner very early on. Haven’t heard about a replacement yet. Recommended to put some loctite on the bolt so it doesn’t loosen and get lost.

It’s just a beautiful functional tool. I have it with me almost all day. Excellent weight cuts beautifully and a simple elegant design. I wouldn’t be able to tame my indoor jungle without it.
