The harp and finial that comes with this lamp are chrome, not brass. Lamps Plus will not exchange it because they do not carry separate harps. Received two lamps but have to return to the store forty miles away because the box was too damaged to use again. All very frustrating.

I LOVE these beautiful lamps. I searched for accent lamps that would work well with my ornate antique brass headboard and these fit the bill. Using the dimmer provides a wide range of light from bright for reading to soft mood lighting.

Switch on one side. Should be an option for left or right.

I bought these to put on either side of the bed. It will be fine on my side, as the on/off switch is on the side closest to my side of the bed. Not so good for my husband, as he'll have to reach around the arm of the lamp to turn the light on/off. I didn't think about it as I was ordering them, because I've always had swing arm lamps with the switch at the center of the base or at the base of the light. Other than this one flaw, they are very attractive lamps, strong and sturdy.Pros: Attractive Design
