I’ve been looking for fun ways to start the preschool/homeschool process with my neurodivergent 4 year old that keep his interest. This has been amazing! He loves to make them balance! He loves to see what weighs more! We weigh things around the house. I really feel like he gets excited to learn because we’re “just playing”. Battat products are my new go-to. I will continue to buy for him and my 2 year old. They really benefit from something like this. We have the stir and sort food court set and the penguin balance scale. I’m looking to get the alphabet train and the light table next!

I teach preschool and this is such a fun learning toy! Everything is so well made and durable. I love the colorful fish and cute penguin. My students really enjoy trying to balance the scale and it is introducing very important math concepts to them. I can't wait to see what other educational toys this company makes!

My 3 year old loves this set! It’s very well made, and educational as well. He’s figured out how to balance but enjoys playing with the fish on their own. It has a nice container to store the fish in when done. This toy keeps him occupied for 30-60 min at a time, so it’s a winner in my book! The price is also very reasonable for this product.

They love weighing things and this is so colorful and just perfect to hold my kids short attention span! It’s very easy to set up, it does come with some smaller fishies so be mindful of that, but overall it’s a great learning toy.

It’s pretty good but 2 things could be better: 1. The lid has to go on in a specific way that is difficult for toddlers to do themselves which of course they want to do 2. My toddler wants to put all the fish on the scales and the trays are not big enough Otherwise my toddler likes it a lot!

My 7 year old asked if I could get her a balance scale, and I wasn't going to say no to an educational toy request (lol). It's not like this scale is super accurate or anything but it gets the point across of how to balance things of different weights and it comes with little weighted fish to use. Also, it comes with a container for the weighted fish! A very pleasant surprise.

She even goes to my mother in laws and plays with her balancing scale. So when I saw this adorable penguin balancing scale, I knew she would be thrilled! This whole set is adorable! The penguin scale is cute and very durable. It comes with a variety of fish in different sizes, shapes, and weights. Even a few mystery creatures where you have to figure out their weight. My daughters have so much fun seeing how they can balance the scale or see which fish are bigger than the other. It's so cute! I especially love that the base doubles as a storage compartment for the fish. It also comes with little challenge booklets that fit perfectly in the back of the penguin. The penguins head also moves depending on which side is heavier. I love it and so do my kids! It's a fun and educational toy. Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Learning new kinds of math can be scary for kids so having this adorable math balancing penguin is a huge help. Each fish is weighted so you can combine different amounts to balance out to certain numbers which makes learning about weight and measuring fun and hands on. It also helps with addition and subtraction skills and understanding them in a way they can touch. We have also been using the pieces for basic multiplication and division skills as well. The whole thing is very well made. It looks really cute and helps make math fun. There is a slot in the back that holds the pamphlets with various instructions so they don't get lost and all of the fish fit in the base. It keeps things tidy as well as keeping them from getting lost. The arms move a a good speed so they do not flip items too quickly but move freely when weigh is added. The penguins face has a little arrow so they can tell if it is balanced as well, not just by height of the arms which helps the younger kids.
