Q: This version of the game is compatible with Xbox One, right? I am trying to use it on my Xbox One X but it is saying that there is a compatibility issue.
submitted by Logan - 3 years ago
A: Hi, Logan! Regarding your question about the Battlefield 2042 - Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One: If you have the physical disc version of the game, that would not be compatible. The game itself will play on Xbox One, but the Xbox One won't read Xbox Series X discs. The digital version will work. If you have additional questions or for more information, please give us a call at 1-800-591-3869.

Read before you buy - 3 years ago
if you are a battlefield fan or first time playing the franchise, read before you buy. this game isn't complete and dose not have a story or campaign mode. lots of bugs. as if the game either was rushed to be put on the market or never been tested. I'd pay $20 dollars for it.

Terrible game. If you enjoy people running, jumping and dodging bullets like Neo from the Matrix, you will love this game. When someone shots at you just move left to right and you can’t be killed. Bring back battlefield 4 game play!!

This game has a lot of issues. Performance is choppy. It has design issues; it's spread out and takes a long time to travel to objectives. The maps are sparse and empty. It has some fun elements, like the grapple hook, but you can't enter a lot of buildings. There are visual glitches where my character is blocking the screen with their moving hand. Then there are UI issues; it has a lot of extra screens you have to click through because it's trying to sell you skins. Then there are playlist issues; you play the same map over and over. Some issues may be fixed, but overall its scale and player count is to be bigger is better, but it just isn't because once you get a lot of players into an area it gets choppy, your guns don't hit where you point, and you have to respawn and spend a lot of time running out in the open, again.
