Beach State Summerland 6.5 ft. Diameter Portable Beach Umbrella

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've used this umbrella on a couple beach trips now and are extremely pleased with it. Comes with a carrying case that makes it easy to transport. Piece of cake to put together and take apart. The top portion of the Umbrella can be adjusted to any angle to block the sun. Both times we've used this umbrella we've had other beach goers asking us about it. If you're looking for a quality beach umbrella look no further. We weren't able to test the umbrella in higher winds but it handled the calm breezy days with no problem.

I have the yellow and white stripe with fringe and it just looks so cute on the beach. It is nice and large so provides adequate coverage from the sun and the umbrella shade material is nice and thick.

You can collapse it to store for easy cary in the storage bag it comes with. There is an adjustable arm to lower it or add height to it! The bottom of the pole is a corkscrew which makes it easy to put into the beach! I have always used to for my backyard table as well! Dual purpose! An amazing product, great quality and easy to use! I would highly recommend anyone to use this product!

The pole is made to look like wood and adds some additional character to the umbrella. The bottom of the pole has a what looks like a giant screw to help anchor the umbrella in the sand better and help get it into the ground. And it even blocks the sun! I highly recommend this umbrella.

It's easy to take with you on a trip with the included carrying bag. The umbrella is the perfect size for two and the umbrella feels well built to hold up for years of use. It's a great way to have just the right protection from the sun.

I thought it was easy enough to open up and plant into the ground firmly. Even the look of it and the fabric looks very weather resistant. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this umbrella! It is in a classy neutral color with what seems to be a faux wood laminate on the pole. The fringe is thick and plentiful, which adds a luxurious look. The umbrella comes in two parts (pole base and top) that are easy to put together. The canopy is also generously sized. I have a small patio table for 4 people and it provided more than enough shade. I do bring it back inside for storage once I’m done using it. The carrying bag makes storage so easy, especially because of its ample size. You can effortlessly put the umbrella back in without any pushing and stuffing. The upper portion of the umbrella pole also has an adjustable hinge that allows you to tilt the top as the sun changes position. It is easy to adjust and will come in handy at the beach. The umbrella feels very sturdy, including the plastic spokes. It is heavy enough to be durable, but not so heavy that an adult would have trouble carrying it on their back. A small detail that I really appreciate is that the canopy uses a d-ring closure instead of velcro or button snaps. I find that velcro or buttons tend to deteriorate with use, so I love the durability of the rings. This is truly a beautiful umbrella, whether you use it on your patio or by the water, and the thoughtful design elements make it even more enjoyable to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say, I am impressed!! Living in Florida, I have had quite a few beach umbrellas, but never one with this quality! First things first, it is HUGE. When I initially opened it, it wouldn't fit in my kitchen! The material is so nice and thick and it is very well put together. The bag it comes in seems to be made out of the same material as the umbrella, which I love. The button feature to open and close it is great too! No more pinched fingers for me!! This baby is gonna get so much use, that I cannot wait to purchase my next one!

It gives you perfect sunset golden hour feelings and vibes even if you are just using it on your backyard patio. The light yellow print with the fringe reminds me of a different era and gives a vintage look but with modern SPF protection. I found that the fabric parts were well sewn and made. The fabric and fringe are good quality and look luxurious. The bag is handy to carry and store the umbrella but it does lack something to keep the cinch closure tight. I wish they had added a bead or little piece of cloth to help it keep the string cinch closed so I didn’t have to worry about anything falling out while carrying it. There are metal rings and straps to keep the umbrella closed. It was very easy to open and put together. I like that you can adjust the height of the umbrella. The tilt is very helpful to block out the sun as it changes positions throughout the day. While it can be used on a patio with a regular stand, I would recommend using something to protect the poles because my metal stand did make a mark on the faux wood covering on the steel pole. This is definitely more of an aesthetic umbrella than the most practical beach umbrella due to the length and weight of it. It is kind of heavy and sort of awkward in length to carry on your shoulder if you park really far from the beach and have to walk a long way. But I think it is worth it if you want pretty photos or it is a special occasion. I think it is important to mention that while the umbrella pole and tilting mechanism is made of metal, most of the other non fabric components are plastic. The umbrella arms and the part that connects both poles together are plastic. I am concerned about whether these can withstand wind and repeated opening and closing but for now they are functional and in working order. Overall, this is a lovely and nice looking beach umbrella that also functionally shades and provides sun protection. Definitely a good choice if you want a beach or patio umbrella that looks pretty.
