This stuff is awesome. I like to slice and dice up a steak or add some cooked ground beef to it. I add ground Jimmy Dean sausage to the minestrone. It's packaged well and the shelf life is great too. I also take these soup mixes and package them on mylar bags with oxygen absorbers for super long shelf life. Decades. It will last for a couple years even it's original package. It also tastes awesome. Bear Creek Soup mixes. Love this stuff. Very Respectfully, Gunny G USMC

I prepared this Bear Creek Country kitchens cheddar potato soup exactly how it says in the directions. I added the water to the line that I think is very close to the top. I used a heat-resistant towel to remove the soup from the microwave. My problem with this soup is that the container buckled. You can see how the container is very thin towards the bottom. The soup made the container crumble and the soup port over the top onto my hand, causing a second-degree burn that landed me in the hospital emergency room. I spent a lot of money on treatment. Burn creams, gauze, ointments, wound tape, and scar treatments. After reaching out to the company for over 6 months with receipts and pictures, they said they would give me a reimbursement of soup. Like I really want more soup so I can burn myself. I'm so glad that my kids or an elderly person did not get this soup and burn their delicate hands. This is definitely not safe. I think it should be taking off the market until it gets better containers. I really wish they did reimburse me. All my medical bills were expensive, and the products I used on my hand were. They told me to send in the receipts, and I did. I just got a reply saying they're going to send me some more soup and $25. I had to dress this wound for months. I also bought scar cream that was alone more than $25. Medical and wound care is expensive.
