Beauty by Earth Tinted Facial Sunscreen SPF 20

Bought months ago and it was fantastic, just bought again and everything changed, it’s runny and thinned out. So tired of companies coming to target and when they start selling they either jack up price or change formula to make more profit, really sucks. Back to Eltamd I guess.

Changed formula! I bought couple months ago and texture was creamy. Just bought and bottle looks different and very watery runny, very bad. Took pictures, the left is original. Will be going back to Eltamd, don’t like this runny mess.

Leaves my face way too white. I was hoping to use this daily but will have to save it for the beach when I can hide my face under my hat and sunglasses. 😆

I am somewhat tan but this sunscreen makes me look orange. So embarrassing. I bought two, wasted my money. I don’t feel comfortable purchasing any other tinted sunscreen from this company. I’ll probably end up in the same situation.

It's a bit darker than I'd like and kind of orange but I think I'll give it a shot (I'm half Korean, half Caucasian with decently tan skin, but this color almost looks fake tan-y to me). I don't normally wear makeup, or foundation for that matter, so it's a bit different for me personally using this as it acts like a foundation. But it is very lightweight and spreads on easily and just feels like it's not there when you're wearing it. Plus there's a decent amount of non nano zinc, the ingredients are recognizable, it's cruelty free and made is USA. So the pluses are definitely legit. If it ends up making my skin break out I will update my part to mention that. When I rinsed my face with water it was clear that this is water resistant. At the same time, it only took a little bit of soap to wash off, which I was happy about.

The color does not match what is on the website. I look like I just came from a tanning bed.

I purchased this because many tinted moisturizers advertise that their dark or darkest colors would be suitable for black women, but I've used them and got a white or ashy cast. This shade was advertised as "cocoa", their deepest shade ( side-eye) but outta the tube, it looks like a classic tan. It worked for me because I have gold undertones and brown skin kind of like a medium mocha ( does that make sense?) . Im concerned that this is their darkest color. It is not new knowledge that women, particularly BLACK women come in different shades. So if you're on the darker spectrum range, this brand may not be for you. Overall, the consistency is creamy and hydrating. It glides on smooth, with a nice light level of coverage, and a little goes a long way. I hope this helps.

I normally don’t write reviews, I was in love with it. But after a few weeks of me using it my face started to breakout now I am full of pimples :(. I was so proud of my skin before it. :(

I bought this as a gift and was pleasantly surprised how well it went on and looked. At first, the color seemed a bit dark, but when applied it left a lovely looking glow. Also, the customer service was excellent. I had a question about the product and they got back to me promptly.

The tiny colour is much lighter than expected. I’m black (kinda light mocha brown with yellow undertone) and I expected it to sorta be darker. On my sister, this definitely wouldn’t work, but it was a but lighter than me so this worked. I was taken aback when I compared the colour with other reviewers and theirs was notably darker, which is what I hoped to have. So now I have to mix the sunscreen with makeup which is what I wanted to replace/avoid.

I purchased theTinted facial sunscreen in the shade cocoa, now I would consider myself a warm dark tan complexion with golden to yellow undertones. As i read the description for each shade of this sunscreen i felt pulled to order toffee because the description of the undertone matched up with how i describe my skin complexion. But I was unsure so i ventured to youtube in hopes that a youtuber my skin complexion reviewed this product. I was in luck 1 blogger named Keepingupwitbb had this product featured as apart of her favorites of june. She swatched the product in the shade cocoa and i was floored the color looked like a perfect match for my skin tone. I was a bit confused because on the beauty by earth site cocoa is described as having a red undertone. So i will say shade matching is difficult. Upon first application of this sunscreen the smell is heavenly like light citrus with a herbal twist, the color matched my skin nicely and blended out wonderfully and left with a fresh dewy look to skin. The feel of tinted sunscreen is like a effortless veil across my face that i can not feel. Its lighter then a lotion which i do like, its perfect addition to my natural skincare routine.

There is fine print at the bottom that says it’s for skin with yellow undertones. Made me look jaundiced. Obviously this is not my best look. Suggestion to BBE, make print larger on tube, also put in online description.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like it! I accidentally ordered the wrong shade for me (I'm super pale), but I've been using a small amount as a bronzer, and the results are great! I'll keep using it for sure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was very excited about this product; however, the toffee color which is between the lightest and darkest shades was way too dark for my skin tone. I chose this color because I’m typically in the middle of the spectrum when it comes to my skin tone. I should have gone with the light beige color. The product seems great though. Not heavy and provided nice coverage.
