I read at least a book a week and this book was written almost in a tone of someone who is bragging about her life. Not relatable and boring.

I love this book! I’m usually not a big fan of memoirs or non-fiction in general but her story was so engaging. You can tell right off the bat how intelligent and aware she is and she further proves this by her successes throughout her life. I’m so glad she wrote this book. It’s not boring at all and the writing is absolutely beautiful. I feel lucky to have read this book and it’s definitely going to be one of my top reads this year.
beautifully told

This was a very interesting account of Michelle’s life. I got chills during some of her stories. I don’t understand how anyone would say this was poorly written or boring. I’m guessing those are people who hate her husband and are clueless about his presidency and life....and didn’t even read the book. I read Promised Land too and they go great together.
