Q: will this go on a bed with side boards and foot board

submitted by cindy white - 8 years ago
  • A: I think you could make adjustments to make it work with any bed since it just slips under the edge of the mattress and box springs. If you have a platform type bed with no box springs, it might be a little trickier to make it look good. Even if you had to cut the skirt into pieces to work around the frame, you could fold the cut ends over and it would look okay.

  • A: It tucks under the mattress, on top of the boxspring. So it will likely "go on," but whether it will be a fully visible depends on what style of boards you have. Ours is rail-style footboard, so it shows behind it. On a solid wood sleigh-bed, for example, the footboard would hide it, obviously.

Q: how does this skirt stick onto the box spring

submitted by betwhy - 8 years ago
  • A: It comes with "pins" to secure to the boxspring. I didn't use them. I just tucked a small part of the bedskirt under the boxspring and it works for me. It has to be adjusted every now and then but I didn't want to put holes in the fabric of my new boxspring. I would purchase it again. Good value for the price.

  • A: Same as other's have said, there is an extra hem at the top that can be tucked between the mattress and the box spring or frame. It does need periodic adjusted, esp. when the bed is made. It is also thin, like a bed sheet, But for a king size bed, this was a great price and I love being able to take it off to toss in the washer/dyer and then easily get it back on myself.

Q: Does it cover all 4 sides?

submitted by Joshua truman - 8 years ago
  • A: No it covers 3 sides . It looks neat and clean. Reminder it is a strip of fabric. I found that I needed to attach it ti the box springs so it didn`t slide around.

  • A: No. It does not cover the headboard area.

Q: does this fit a king adjustable bed

submitted by nje - 2 years ago
  • A: There are instructions included with the bed skirt that address how to fit it on an adjustable bed. We also have a version of the wrap-around bed skirt specifically made for adjustable beds: https://www.target.com/p/adjustable-bed-wrap-around-15-tailored-bed-skirt-bed-maker-s/-/A-80372063?preselect=80314998

Q: I have a new deep mattress, does not have a box spring .can I slide it under my mattress on a metal frame. The frame is 14" from the floor.

submitted by Jp - 3 years ago
  • A: Hi JP - We typically recommend using the provided twist pins to hold the bed skirt in place. Without a box spring, it will not be as easy to achieve the same tailored look with ease. Ideally, the mattress would hold the bed skirt in place, but would just take a little more finesse. There is a 4” flap that would need tucked in. You could probably use Velcro tape to secure the skirt to the frame as well. Hope this helps! Thanks
